@feladler We are working on iCloud support. There are a few sync edge cases to iron out before it's robust, but it's getting there. 🙂

@antofjack Hey!!! Believe it or not, the app never had a setting for dark mode! It just goes with whatever you set your phone to. Now that you mention it though, it would be a pretty cool feature to be able to switch modes in the app. We will add it to the ToDo list!

@been_app hi, I have found an inconsistency. The map of India is wrong. Please refer to the official maps. Or even a basic google search will tell you.

@noorthesagi Aha, here’s the thing. That’s not what the map of India looks like in Google Maps when viewed outside of India. The Kashmir area is shown as disputed. In the map data we get from our map data provider, the border is as portrayed in the app, but we could clarify the disputed area.

@been_app The map you use includes the occupied territories of Western Sahara to Morocco, which is illegitimate .It contradicts what is internationally recognized. un.org/geospatial/con… This is the link to the African continent according to the @UN

It was brought to our attention that the app crashes on iOS 17 when an achievement is unlocked. This is due to a haptic effect that for some reason breaks on iOS 17. We have disabled this haptic effect in ”been 3.0.12” and submitted an update to Apple, hopefully available soon.

@been_app would be cool if you can add a feature that when a city is added, a region would be automatically added as well

@Saharawi_ We will look into it. Disputed territories are always complicated, with multiple sides claiming the territory. We are happy to investigate it further, however. Western Sahara is in the app as a disputed territory, but it may very well be the case that we got the border wrong.

@DrStarHeartsong Thanks for your feedback. 🙂 You can get to a continent only view, if you scroll down to ”My Continents”, then tap a continent. We’re striving for a simpler UI, as one always should, but our ambition is not to scale it back to the previous version. Looking for a middle ground. 🙂

@been_app in terms of UI, your classic version was better. not being able to get to a continent only view in the new UI makes your app unenjoyable to use. I realize I can revert to the Classic Mode, but, just sayin’, for the sake of your product heading in the right direction, please try to understand what your core user appreciates before your Product Management goes onto tangents. @Rate1x Unfortunately we don't have an Android version planned. We just don't have the resources to focus on more than one platform. 🫤

@benjytheguy We can add it to our list of things to consider at least. 🙂 There's a lot of stuff we want to add and improve, and we have very limited development resources, but as long as it's on the list, it could happen at some point.

@MicahBergdale Thanks for the feedback! We have been considering various things like that, but we only have one developer (me), and we work on the app in our spare time, so it's going to take while before we get there. 🙂

@JayPhil22964266 Many people got confused by the number being shown in the list there, since it showed countries + territories, so we removed it in an attempt to receive fewer angry emails. 🙂 We’re thinking about reintroducing it in a way that is less confusing.

@been_app The count of all countries + territories is now gone…..a bug maybe? It used to be there

Just a brief announcement: We get many, many emails asking about Antarctica right now. Don’t worry, we’re actively working on getting Antarctica back into the app, it’s just taking a little bit of time. Patience is a virtue! All good things come to those who wait. Etc etc. 🙂

@JochemLL @GooglePlay Unfortunately, we had to discontinue the Android app, because we don’t have the resources to do 2 versions of the app.

@Binesy You can currently pinch-to-zoom the map, but we’ll consider making it possible to just tilt the phone again. 🙂

@been_app Can you please add back the zooming in of each continent feature and also being able to turn the map on its side to see it bigger again!! That was the best part and now it’s gone!

There is currently a new updated version (3.0.4) of the app rolling out on the App Store where a bunch of things have been fixes. Also, we added 100 000 smaller cities and 8000 airports.

@been_app I know this is a little late, but; Awesome update! I bought the premium, probably more just in support than a need... I highly recommend this app to all travelers that like to track where they've been 👍
