Earlier this year we had a chat with @beerwithben about #barley, #malt, #beer #brewing and the #archaeology of it all and where it all began. He's working on brewing an ancient style beer with local ingredients and has just put the podcast out. Cheers Ben! beerwithben.co.uk

Back from a Twitter break for 2020 with a second series and a whole new adventure as I'll be exploring even more of our brewing culture... Lots to come, including a new podcast later in the year and regular updates from spring onward. Finding Beer is coming...

If there is one constant in an increasingly unpredictable world it's these guys - Fuggles hops. Every year, mid-March, they come up, I build a massive pole and then take a few of the shoots to pan fry with a little butter, salt and pepper. Love it. #findingbeer

My thoughts go out to everybody facing serious challenges due to recent events, whether that's personal or work-related. Finding Beer is still on, but I'm shifting all interviews online - hopefully the only difference you'll hear is the school-age kids shouting in the background
