If you want to know why all the deeply silly “dog rape” stories were published this week, it’s because the paid pro-Palestinian influencer squad were ordered to get ahead of this, genuine horror story.

@SimonHarrisMBD Speaking of unpaid debts, did you ever clear your CCJs, or did you just let them time out despite your substantial "earnings" from the council?

As you know, I’m a big Polanski fan, but some of the abuse that Dan Neidle has been getting for the ‘houseboat’ story has been entirely unwarranted. He’s covered these issues across all parties in recent history, and Polanski has now apologised. I don’t see the problem.
Dan Neidle@DanNeidle

New idea. Next time we publish a report on a politician, I’ll keep the politician’s name blanked out for a week, and let everyone take positions before they find out who it is.

Write a tweet to say I’m writing about Zack Polanski and guess what? The ‘kind’ and ‘Inclusive’ left come out swinging. Personal attack after personal attack without even CONSIDERING engaging in the factual piece I’ll be writing. Transphobe. Bigot. Antisemite. Nazi. Figures.

@BlastingThrough I know an EOD guy from Northern Ireland. The bomb suits didn't protect the operator from death, it just kept the body parts in one place, and was typically only married men that used them.

This statue is of an EOD tech wearing a bomb suit holding a folded flag for the fallen. It stands in the EOD Memorial Gardens, Eglin AFB, FL. The bomb suit and the robot came towards the end of my career, and I never had any experience with either. Technology is making the EOD tech's job safer, but EOD is one of the most dangerous jobs in the military in time of war and in time of peace.

Not a lot of people know this about Nigel Farage, and he doesn’t like to shout about it, but many years ago he spotted a young boy crying on Clacton Seafront. He asked him why he was so upset, and it was because his mum had given him a pound to go and buy a 99 but just as he approached the ice cream kiosk, a seagull had swooped down and stolen it from him before flying off towards the amusements. Without a single moment’s hesitation, Nigel gave the boy another pound to get a 99, and then he bought ice creams for every single child on the seafront that day. Inspired by his kindness, the child hugged him and promised that he would never forget his act of generosity. That little boy grew up to be Whitney Houston.

I recently met a traveller who formerly worked for an MP in parliament who lost their job when the MP found out when they were a traveller. Travellers are the most discriminated against minority group in the country. Poorest health, education & employment outcomes by a LARGE margin. People will regularly call them a P*key, to their faces, which is as offensive as calling me a Nigger. Anyone who has studied British racial disparities has seen the statistics, so I really can’t take people seriously who complain about racial disparities and discrimination when traveller’s life outcomes are an order of magnitude worse than everyone else’s Particularly the outcomes of the white working class and black Caribbean communities. Which are the more fashionable groups for elites on the left and right to care about.

Often described as the most vilified community in Britain, Travellers say they're facing a fight for survival – struggling to find places to stay while keeping their culture alive. @LisaatSky gains rare access inside a community often sceptical of outsiders

I was asked for a quote for one of our local Green Party election leaflets (Chris Taylor is standing in Hullbridge within Rochford District), and I was only too happy to help - as you can see I chose my words very, very carefully. At the same time as these leaflets hitting doormats all over the area, some of the Facebook locals were accusing them of being ‘an antisemitic party,’ which was funny and tragic in equal measure as the last thing you’d want as an antisemitic party would be an endorsement from a Jewish guy on your leaflets. In another moment of utter hilarity, they were also told that they ‘weren’t welcome in Hullbridge,’ which is weird as the seat has been held by a member of the Green Party for almost a decade now. Just to be clear as well, ‘Internet personality’ was their choice of words, not mine …
