@sudoingX Considering prices and local models that can be runned on those gpus - useless for any real work, unfortunately.

buy a gpu. 3090, 4090, dgx spark, whatever fits your budget. tier doesn't matter. running your first local model does. the moment your first prompt lands with no api between you and the model, your brain rewires. that single moment is worth more than every take you'll ever read on a timeline.

I am getting 35 tok/s and 3.5k context for a ~150 lines Python script that reads all .py files in a given directory, counts lines of code, and outputs a markdown table sorted by LOC descending. it includes argparse, error handling for missing directories, and a summary row at the bottom. all done with pi and qwen3.6-35b-a3b on a windows-rtx-4060ti-8gb

When a CEO says this, one of two things is true: either they don't know what production code is, or they're selling you a story. This kind of hype is how businesses end up in real trouble. The people shipping the code and the CEOs cheering them on won't be the ones held responsible when it breaks. They collect their paycheck either way. Users will find out the hard way, once unreviewed code has touched their money, medical records, identities, private messages, kids' data, legal documents, critical infrastructure. By then it's too late. Production code isn't a vibe.
