I just paid half price for my morning coffee at a well-known chain. Because I’m addicted, i was going to buy it anyway. How to justify using taxpayers money subsidising coffee - yet refusing to help 3.1 million people deprived of their livelihoods and excluded from support?

Govt wants to create a “Trusted, modern tax administration”. To show they’re serious, they are introducing a draconian, retrospective legislation which will RUIN 50,000 families, who are even DENIED ACCESS TO TRIBUNALS to defend themselves against these undue charges. #LoanCharge

I take it as a tacit acknowledgement that 1.I'm right to be concerned about the LC and HMRC's handling of the entire fiasco & 2.HMRC are too embarrassed to confront it in a civilised discussion and lack cojones to admit it.
