@Craig72148073 If 9 people take their lives and HMRC find no evidence of employee misconduct, surely that confirms that the whole process is wrong and unfair?

@RobBAylesbury investigation esp with loss of life must be independent & holistic- its the policy, politics and set up of implementing #loanchargescandal & related enquiries which needs review - and root cause analysis why 20yrs+ later tax being claimed

@Craig72148073 @jzeeman101 It’s not misconduct by an officer that is the problem; it’s the policy itself, devised by senior HMRC Director level bods, that is the problem and should be scrutinised

Loan Charge & Taxpayer Fairness APPG@loanchargeAPPG

“The #MorseReview does not go far enough to resolve the issues. The #LoanCharge still remains retrospective. It seems that the right of taxpayers to defend themselves when faced with a disputed tax bill has been denied although this should be the fundamental right of a citizen”

I have added my name to an open letter to @trussliz & @RishiSunak, urging them to review and resolve the #LoanChargeScandal if elected PM. Many of those most severely affected were 'duped' into schemes with the perpetrators escaping unpunished. This must change. @loanchargeAPPG
