One of my greatest frustrations with contemporary sports coverage is how the actual game now often plays second fiddle to the 'talking points' and individual storylines (Warner's farewell etc. etc). Somewhere buried in all this is a scoreline, ie. the point of the whole thing.🙄

A large part of the Left has become a warped mix of performance and bad faith actors on the problem of genocide. Genocide. We have heard this word uttered a lot lately. Let’s list genocide acts of the last decade and see how many protests did we see in our streets against them. Rohingya - over 40,000 killed. Uyghur - number unknown but well over 50,000 Darfur - 500,000 killed (20 years) Yemen - over 370,000 killed. This one is especially relevant because it was aided and sanctioned by our ‘western alliance’. I can go on, for a long time. Where were the protests? The flag waving? When the killing is done by people similar to those being killed, us whites don’t care. Throw into a conflict a Jewish element and the white person loses their mind. Why is that folks? Why the silence? Why does my side of politics for example turn itself inside out on one conflict that involves Jews but devotes not one word against the other conflicts mentioned? Why? I can go on. Like many who I see getting all hot under the collar about the terrible civilian casualties in Gaza (it’s terrible, I agree), argue against people like myself that Greeks and Armenians did not suffer the same fate. Or that Northern Cyprus is not occupied. As I said. Performance and bad faith actors. Kudos to those who have been consistent and called all of the above out.

They’ve never wanted a two state solution. They have always wanted the entire land to themselves and to forcibly expel the native Palestinian people out. They even assassinated their own prime minister in 1994, Yitzhak Rabin after he was close to establishing peace. It’s been confirmed that Netanyahu and the israeli government helped fund Hamas in order to further destabilise the Palestinians attempt at a two state solution.
