Bam Margera morphing into Phil Margera before our eyes is amazing to witness
AD@cigarettetax
Bam choosing the Jesus shirt for his comeback clips is sick. Rock and roll is back.

@7GOATrings @BoBosBack @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY Holy crap dude scroll up and read the entire chain. A browns fan compared the situation to the chiefs and I responded that it is not the same. Left to right, top to bottom, take midol for cramps.
English

@beneke_b @BoBosBack @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY The name was changed several years ago so I don’t know what your point is by bringing it up now.
English

The Association on American Indian Affairs called the Commanders' logo update "disappointing and inappropriate," adding, "We are not your mascot," per @USAToday.
The team called its new alternate logo, which features a spear and interwoven "W," "a powerful joining of past and present."

Sure whatever not the same as the term redskins, maybe the chop is considered in bad taste but it is no where near the same as calling a team redskins, redskin has never need a positive term. Look I hate the chiefs but it is just not the same, they have publically denounced it but fans will do what fans do
English

@beneke_b @BoBosBack @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY They play the drum beat knowing the response it will elicit. Why pretend the team is not fully on board with the chop?
English

@7GOATrings @BoBosBack @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY It's a drum beat the fans will do what they want. The braves still do it and fsu are you going after them too?
English

@beneke_b @BoBosBack @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY The multimillion dollar organization is playing the Tomahawk chop music during the games to get the fans doing the Tomahawk chop.
English

Since around 2020, the Chiefs have made changes in response to criticism:
• Cheerleaders and drum leaders are instructed to use a closed fist (instead of an open hand) for the motion.
• The team banned headdresses, face paint, and other Native-themed regalia from the stadium.
• They formed an American Indian Community Working Group and emphasize honoring Native heritage while keeping the fan experience.
Despite these adjustments, many fans still use the traditional open-hand chopping motion, and the chant/music continue.

@Domthgreat @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY Don't chime in if youre not going to read the whole thing Linda. It was a response to a browns fan saying it is a double standard for the chiefs. It's not the same. @grok is the chiefs or the redskins considered a slur or a racist term?
English

@beneke_b @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY They’re the Commanders now though, not the CHIEFS
Ya know the CHIEFS, the fucking CHIEFS
English

The difference is the fans are doing that chop and not the multi-million dollar organization/owner of the team. I agree with you on the name change. However, redskins is a slur and chiefs is not. Imo the spear is not a big deal but it is not for me or you to decide if native Americans are offend so be it. Just not the same situation. By your adage team from Boston should be banned as that fan base is know for yelling slurs at teams. 🤷♂️ examples youtu.be/WstKlxuyzsk?si…

@beneke_b @thedawgspodcast @YahooSports @USATODAY The team is named the commanders now… and the chiefs literally do a Tomahawk Chop chant to start the game so wtf are you talking about
English

Chiefs is hardly the slurr of call someone a redskin. Don't think the chiefs have imagery of native American like the indians did or redskins in logos or advertisements, gear, etc; just my opinion. Everyone gets to decide what they are offend by and it is a lot these days or people just have a better platform.
English

@YahooSports @USATODAY So why is using an arrowhead with the name Chiefs not the same thing?

English

You know what? Come to think of it. Maybe not 💀

Arya 🇮🇷@vyrv_
Honestly the Rams need to just say fuck it and bring the STL era unis back as one of the alternates lol
English

@seattlerams_nfl Rams legend… Grant Wistrom or Todd Lyght would have been good choices.
English

@Coppertop255 @espn Thought the same… with sports maybe in comes in too fast for close captions to get all of it
