@jdevalk @cameronjonesweb Would you rather an agent just build random code to push to production or have a team use agents that’s scope is only within a context of a locked down CMS. Later feels more likely to me

@cameronjonesweb So I’m definitely not saying they should do that. I’m saying that if we are going to let people edit sites by chatting with an agent, why do we need the CMS?

This is emblematic of the problem WordPress has had for close to a decade now The people building for WordPress aren’t building with WordPress Hands up who thinks it’s a great idea to make their clients update their website content by committing markdown files to GitHub…

I built Yoast SEO. I ran my blog on WordPress for years. Then yesterday I moved it to static HTML. Everything that matters, SEO, search, schema, is still there. What I dropped was the overhead. Do you actually need a CMS? For quite some sites: no. joost.blog/do-you-need-a-…

@jdevalk @jonoalderson I did. Was more the point about lots of people never needed a full blown CMS. Now there’s just different tools attacking the same problem I could defiantly do what you are but if takes a minute more than stock standard WP/et al, then it’s not worth it IMO It’s certainly cool

@analyticflying Just realised I’m on the last 380 to Mel! Would have been annoyed if I got bumped to a Dreamliner!

Very significant network adjustments for Qantas from NW27: 🔴MEL-LAX: going all B789 → A380 was 2 of 7 per week 🔴SYD-LAS: new very short season route (B789 3x/week) 🔴MEL-DFW: expecting this to be cancelled to make the B789 time available → it's zeroed out 🔴Readout from results: US premium demand remains strong, but not offsetting ↓ economy class demand leading to shifting A380→B789 So where do they send the A380s? 🔴SYD-SIN: ↑ A380 on QF81/82 → was 2 of 7, but could go to daily 🔴Where to the Finnair A330s get redeployed?

Everyone chases the shiny new suites, the caviar, the pyjamas, the rest. Meanwhile Jetstar is over here flying 787s with: – Some of the lowest dispatch delay rates in the industry – A safety record cleaner than airlines with three times the budget – Cabin crew who are consistently rated the friendliest in passenger surveys (yes, really) – An engineering culture so strong it’s become the benchmark inside the Qantas Group They don’t need a marketing budget. The product speaks for itself. Jetstar 787 is the best-kept secret in commercial aviation.

Mr and Mrs Albanese slugged taxpayers for the wedding, held on the grounds of the Lodge in Canberra. Wedding guests were transported via Comcar and VIP RAAF jets. Total cost: well over $350,000. The pair are off on a honeymoon using the VIP RAAF jet as transport.

@mikemcalister Never been much of a blocker either but some people behave online in such a way, there feels like there’s no point even having to read the nonsense. Even if it’s just muting them, worth the peace of mind!

Effective immediately, I hereby place @thekevingeary on X probation for the crime of relentless negativity and having zero chill. However, I'm giving him a chance to turn his online life around before he becomes the first and only person I've ever blocked.

@benjmay That’s fair and I’ve seen people from Air NZ move over to Qantas etc. Despite the new CEO I still expect Air NZ to have issues for various reasons. He seems very AI focussed but he’s missing a trick and it will show and it will still impact their profits 🤷‍♀️

You’d think this was the first time QF flew an A380 to DFW.. initial 20 min delay because cabin too warm. Another 30 mins because cargo wasn’t on. Now another delay because the paperwork to leave is in a lost fuel tanker.

@benjmay To get to the US?? Like east coast? Although QF will fire up the east coast and London with the A350s. And QF are in bed with SQ as well. Have been for a while. Bye bye alliances. QF will likely dump SQ once the A321XLRs/A220s are all in and they have the A359s up and running.

@benjmay Need to do some US stuff so suppose could angle for Sydney but Air NZs timing is pretty good, finish the day, get on and go to sleep. Wake up on the west coast. Have a couple folks on the east coast helping out on a different project so will check QF new A350 out when gets going.

@benjmay Feel like I’m due a bit of luxury but also, it’s a pain flying backwards to fly forwards so not sure when I’ll realistically get back on it.

Marketers are moving faster than ever while managing compliance, security, and AI adoption. It can feel like building the plane while flying it. On 13 Nov in London, I’ll share how teams are simplifying and connecting what already works. wpvip.com/innovation #InnovationShowcase

@adorablegov But then they’ll think you’re up to no good and transparency is the key to trust. I showed my cheating ex (yes you read that right) my Twitter DMs. I had nothing to hide 🤷‍♀️ But he did! But meh… caught him fair & square 😉
