@gregkulowiec Depends on what you want to do. More text based (or within google apps) - Chromebook. If you’re leaning heavily into photo and video creation and editing - iPads. Of course, in education, price is always a factor too.

Pros and Cons of going 1:1 with #chromebooks...what does everyone think?

@DennisDill We get a lot of time off, but almost no say in when that time is. (Taking a vacation during a non-school vacation week is impossible)

@x_hj_x Or that the last time we had case numbers like this it was Halloween and we were canceling trick or treating (an outdoor, socially distant activity that already lends itself really well to mask-wearing).

To put this in some obvious context, things are as bad as—or worse than—they were last April/May, so the fact that e.g. restaurants are allowed to be open for indoor dining with no capacity limits here in MA right now seems MAYBE a little bit REALLY DANG DUMB

@brholland Yea. I’ve been thinking we’ll continue to use Zoom, etc when this is over to build connections between schools and non-local family.
