The best keyboard money can buy: Logitech MX Keys. I bought mine more than 2.5 years ago. In that time, I've tried a dozen other keyboards, but nothing comes close. Apple's keyboards are too flat and mechanical keyboards have too much travel. This one is perfect.

We had an absolute blast exploring procedural waffle cones & ice cream mixed with delicious chocolate splashes and pours. A big shout out to Martin Hollis at Equasonics for the fantastic sound design. We really enjoyed the opportunity to collaborate on this. #houdini #redshift

@immikelambert @rocketlabtv Thanks man! It’s a matrix deformer with falloff, basically a rotation with a power function to accentuate the effect closer to the centre.

@benwattsdesign @rocketlabtv Dude the curling at the center is incredibly well done. I’ve attempted stuff like this with only displacements and deformers in the past and never achieved results like this. Any insights/advice from things you learned?

Made a mini process vid for my latest post.. The hardest part was adding the pieces to the mesh whist keeping them stable. #houdini #redshift #animation #fx

@harricameron @IRNSCVNGR You can do that, the surface normals are definitely stable enough. I only had one piece created so opted for the cheap way 🤣

@benwattsdesign @IRNSCVNGR Ah! It looks like as the caramel folds the pieces orient themselves correctly with it, is this not the case? Looks very effective either way!

@harricameron @IRNSCVNGR Actually much simpler, just rand orient per id.
