Here’s what happened: Over the last two months, @Webflow charged us a total of $2,280 for what ended up being just 4TB of traffic. Before these charges, our monthly bill was $69. (For context, the market rate for that same amount of bandwidth on a CDN like BunnyCDN is around $40 to $80) We did receive an email warning, but it was vague and didn’t communicate the financial impact. Nothing in it suggested we were about to be auto-upgraded and billed over a thousand dollars. Today we migrated all our images to BunnyCDN to stop the bleeding and avoid any more overage. However, it’s still unclear whether the bandwidth addon is actually disabled, "Manage Addons" button is unclickable, and it looks like we might be charged another $1,140 next cycle. We asked for a refund. The request was denied based on Webflow’s Terms of Service. We sent a follow-up explaining the situation and asking for a reconsideration, still waiting for a response and hoping to hear back soon. We like Webflow and want to keep working with it. But this kind of surprise billing shouldn’t happen. It hurts trust.
