The Czech cyber delegation from @CzechMFA has concluded its visit to Washington, D.C., meeting with U.S. counterparts from the White House, State Department, Congress and industry to advance cooperation on cyber resilience and countering cyber threats. Strong and growing CZ–US cyber partnership. 🤝

🇨🇿🤝🇨🇦 Česká delegace se zastoupením našeho úřadu navštívila Kanadu, kde jednala s vládními, akademickými i soukromými partnery o posílení spolupráce v boji proti kybernetickým hrozbám, ochraně kritické infrastruktury a bezpečnosti satelitních služeb. Cesta se uskutečnila v rámci programu Projekty na podporu ekonomicko-vědecké diplomacie (PROPED) @mzvcr. 💬„Týdenní misi jsme tentokrát zaměřili vedle kybernetické bezpečnosti i na bezpečnost satelitních služeb, které se NÚKIB věnuje. Nově bylo také cílem navázat užší kontakty s bezpečnostními složkami, které se zabývají kybernetickým zločinem. Oproti předchozím letům byla letos tématem i kybernetická obrana, odstrašení v kyberprostoru a spolupráce v @NATO. ČR bude již v březnu 2026 hostit NATO Cyber Champions Summit v Praze, na který zveme i delegaci z Kanady,“ řekla @bertajarosova, cyber attachée pro USA a Kanadu. 💡Tato mise ukazuje, že ČR má co nabídnout v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti a vesmírných technologií. The visit was part of the PROPED program (Projects Supporting Economic and Scientific Diplomacy) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic. 💬 ‘This year’s week-long mission focused not only on cybersecurity but also on satellite service security, which is part of NÚKIB’s mandate. Another goal was to establish closer contacts with security agencies involved in combating cybercrime. Compared to previous years, this year’s topics also included cyber defense, deterrence in cyberspace and cooperation within NATO. The Czech Republic will host the NATO Cyber Champions Summit in Prague in March 2026, to which we are also inviting a Canadian delegation,’ said Berta Jarošová, Cyber Attachée for the USA and Canada. 💡 This mission highlights the Czech Republic’s strong capabilities in cybersecurity and space technologies. Based on this warning, entities subject to the Act on Cyber Security are legally required to consider the identified threat in their risk analyses and respond to the detected risks by implementing appropriate security measures. At the same time, we also recommend that the general public carefully evaluate the use of the affected products and consider what kind of information they enter into them. For individuals in high-level political or public positions, we recommend not using the affected products at all. Concerns about potential security threats stem primarily from insufficient protection of data transmission and handling, the collection of data types that, on a larger scale, may lead to user de-anonymization, and, last but not least, the legal and political environment of the People’s Republic of China, to which company DeepSeek is fully subject. Simultaneously with this warning, on July 9, 2025, the Government of the Czech Republic approved a resolution concerning the affected DeepSeek products. The resolution mandates that members of the government, ministries, and other central administrative authorities ensure that their subordinate ministries and public administration bodies do not use products, applications, solutions, websites, or web services (including APIs) provided by company DeepSeek in the performance of their official duties.
