Okay, it's a head on a swivel, fluid forecast type of day. A Flood Watch has now been issued for the I-35 corridor and points eastward through the rest of Sunday into Monday morning. While not everyone in the Flood Watch will necessarily see heavy rain, models are hinting at *potential* for a corridor of very heavy rain setting up later today somewhere in this zone. Morning storms did not fully make it into the I-35 corridor earlier today, meaning that there is still juice in the atmosphere for more storms to develop later this morning into this afternoon. However, there is still some uncertainty with how widespread and intense this next round of storms will be. Bottom line: there is a lot of uncertainty in this forecast, but the atmosphere could support another round of storms later today capable of severe weather and flooding. Just make sure you have a way to get warnings, and if flooding develops, never drive through flooded roadways.
