@marshyleeds @wayatalkinabeet Hes not wrong though, I remember the "exclusive" on Ampadu a month ago which got a few people worked up, and all it was, was contract talks, which if true (unlikely) have disappeared into nothingness. Drivel.

I just don’t know what people expect to happen here. Do you think operators should go out of business paying everyone out in full? It was a fuck up, and a huge one, but they don’t have infinite cash

Imagine winning £141,897 but only being offered 11% of that 😭😭😭 Jackpots of £236k, £175k, £142k and more on William Hills Jackpot Drop game a few days ago. Now the bookies are demanding it back. The classic goodwill gesture? 11% 🤣

❓GRAND NATIONAL FENCES The fences for Aintree’s National seem to be getting smaller every year, just take a look at last year’s final 2 flights 👇🏼 Are the changes warranted & do classier types now get an unfair advantage? It would certainly be hard to envisage a rag winning.

@kickitout lol this is so unfair. Everyone jumping to conclusions. It wasn’t announced over the tannoy and the screen is small and in the corner. Everyone just assumed it was a tactical water break, hence the fury

Kick It Out@kickitout·
Kick It Out statement: It’s massively disappointing that some Leeds United fans booed when Manchester City’s players broke their fast during the first half of the match at Elland Road this evening. This was compounded by the fact that an explanation was displayed on a big screen inside the stadium. Pausing the game to allow Muslim players to break their fast during Ramadan has been an agreed protocol for several years now. It’s an important and visible part of making the game welcoming for Muslim players and communities. But as tonight’s reaction shows, football still has a long way to go in terms of education and acceptance.

@DougieCritchley No one had a clue pal, about 20% of the stadium can see the small screen in the corner and it wasn’t announced over the tannoy

You’ve got to be a special kind of idiot to jeer and boo a match being momentarily suspended so Muslim players can break fast during Ramadan. The amount of delays we have to endure in our game in 2026, for long throws, play acting and VAR.

Try telling James Trafford or Eberechi Eze that the FA Cup doesn’t matter. Or Mansfield Town fans. Or Wrexham’s – or their Hollywood owners. Or Wolverhampton Wanderers fans desperate for some light in a dark season... 1/2

A few thoughts... I'm not going to go back to the Nuno saga because I think we've been through that enough. Fall outs should have been handled like grown up men and Nuno should have been shown a bit more respect than to have been targeting Ange so early on. As soon as Ange left, my overriding thoughts on Dyche were... if you wouldn't appoint Dyche straight after Nuno, then it's probably best to not appoint him now and instead try to attract a better candidate. I don't even think Dyche was on the shortlist post Nuno. Imo there was still enough time in the season to get things back on track without needing to resort so early to someone you hadn't even considered a few league games ago. Now when Dyche did come in, even the fans that weren't so sure about the idea, fully got behind the team. The feel good factor was back, basically because Ange had gone and of course the Woan and Stone factor sprinkled a little extra on top. The atmosphere against Porto was incredible, that gave us a great chance to win that game. If you think it was a Dyche masterclass after just 2 training sessions, then good luck to you. Now we've finally had a longer sample size to look at how we are performing as a team, it's been quite clear to me and most fans that it isn't of a standard that befits a £650m squad. It's fully accepted that this is the best squad Sean has ever had the chance to manage, yet we haven't seen performances to mirror that. On performances/underlying numbers we've comfortably been one of the worst 4/5 teams under Dyche. Personally I think the squad is better than that. Some fortunate wins have massively tipped the ppg record into looking respectable. Then you have to bring into question his man management of the squad. When you publicly call out players after bad games, ones that are still taking time to adapt to their surroundings, instead of putting an arm around them and coaching them to be better, that's your job. Then is doesn't sit to well with me. Especially in the PSR world we're in now. We've spent a lot of money in the summer and you should take on some responsibility as a manager of a football club to try and eek out every bit you can of those players rather than publicly devalue them. Imo, this is much worse than anything Nuno ever said. When players have come in and played well in Europe, as he had asked for. They then still didn't get a chance. We haven't seen McAtee since a good display against Ferenvaroc and Kalimuendo wasn't seen after a good display in Utrecht and then club probably had to choice but to loan him out if there was a refusal to not use him. I also have to question his in-game adaptability when things aren't going to plan. We see nothing more than a like for like sub. @wt_analysis has a good article on this, go read his substack for more. To sack him now? Why not? In all honesty. I think it's time to pull the trigger in the attempt of a short term bounce, one that in all likelihood would keep us in the division. The benefits of keeping Dyche are not really outweighing the risks at this point. I'm pretty sure we'll see Vitor Pereira in now and it makes sense on quite a few levels for a short-term appointment. He was able to pick that Wolves squad up and give them the bit of confidence they were lacking, seemed to have some decent man management skills. That's all I think our talented squad need right now to keep us up. Longer-term I don't see it as the solution. You've just read all that? Grow up. #NFFC

Lots of twists and turns to come, but the new 'minimum £45m' price for JSL could effectively end once and for all the Leeds interest. To me, this has always looked like Palace will get this done once they find a solution for Mateta.

@ChrisPoole___ I'd say the owners of Spindleberry are using this as a guide as to whether to be amitious and go for the Chelt gold cup so might aswell try. Though if she starts struggling at any point it might not look like it.

@BerenCross Hes been great for us & has a lot of strengths as manager. But the big in-game/tactical weakness is obvious in games like this, to get battered all half and not even try to change things (was crying out for another body upfield from 55th min) until the 83rd min feels such a flaw
