Elon Musk’s Terafab announcement is so ridiculously ambitious it should actually scare you — these numbers are straight-up mind-blowing: •The factory will pump out 70% of TSMC’s entire global capacity (10 GW) and scale all the way to 1 terawatt at full build-out. •Two AI chips per year will be enough to power a BILLION Optimus robots… plus millions of AI satellites. •80% of the chips head straight to orbit, where the satellites pull 5× more solar power 24/7 to train Grok — and it’s way cheaper up there. •The plant itself is 100 million square feet… literally the size of San Francisco. •SpaceX will launch 10 million tons of hardware into space every year (50,000 launches — one every 10 minutes). •Their new AI satellite is 50% bigger than Starship V3. •The AI5 chip alone is 50× more powerful than AI4. •Today’s entire global chip output only satisfies 2% of Tesla + SpaceX’s future needs. Terafab flips that script. •And the whole thing costs just $20–25B to build 🤯 Nobody — not a single company or even a group of them — is operating on this level. Completely insane.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.
