What does @Strike actually do that @coinbase doesn't do? Put aside the marketing angle of Strike being for edgy anarcho-capitalist bitcoiners w/empty walk-in closets.

@TheGuySwann If only ASIC’s weren’t so specific. 😂 I’d be AI rich at this point… we could rent ai from brAIns.

We implemented @karpathy 's MicroGPT fully on FPGA fabric. No GPU. No PyTorch. No CPU inference loop. Just a transformer burned into hardware, generating 50,000+ tokens/sec. The model is small, but the idea is not: inference does not have to live only in software 👇

Another excellent piece of journalism by @hodlonaut. My gut tells me that this is a classical example of "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." I believe Newberry set out with the best of intentions to create Brink. And then human fallibility kicked in and we saw all the classic patterns of abuse of trust and power leading to erosion of meritocracy, objectivity, and integrity. Those who don't acknowledge what this article exposes further reveal how hard the truth can be to admit. Those who acknowledge it but deny its importance misunderstand how crucial integrity, merit, and openness are to Bitcoin over the long term.

@TomerStrolight @hodlonaut why not simply talk to some developers, or people who are immersed in this space who can tell you the nuanced reality. but no, the space cat went full-retard, pile on the false conclusion hate, so developers have to add skimming threats to their morning routine. thanks guys👎 not

No speed increases… text generation is on par with running a comparable gguf in llamacpp.cpp (for qwen 3.5/3.6 that’s about 11 toks/s), prompt prefill? hard to say if they are on par, as measurement seems a bit different in the lemon-mlx tools) It’s pretty early for the project. When I first ran it it only would load qwen 4bit mlx models… but I added a PR and now it also runs 8bit. So NOT saying it is a replacement or better than say llamacpp/gguf. Just very cool I’m just downloading and running mlx models on Linux/strix halo. Another tool in our toolbox.

@bigshiny90 @jun_song Any speed increases? Was tweaking deepseek v4 flash all night. Finally gave up. I got it working but output was horrible. Wasn't easy.

If you are using a Mac with 96GB RAM or more: Do not use Qwen3.6 27b. • Minimax M2.7 • Deepseek V4 Flash These two are much faster and smarter. Take advantage of the unified memory.

Interesting project I’ve been testing - run mlx models on the Framework. Early but working - I’ve been running qwen3.5 and 3.6 mlx models (mlx community 4bit and 8bit versions) on my Framework. Not saying it will run all models - limited right now. Still, pretty cool, for an early project: github.com/lemonade-sdk/l…

How do people use multiple AI subscriptions together? Like if you have Claude and Codex, what's your workflow for using them together? Or are they completely separate?

In a world drowning in digital noise—outrage, drama, reaction—the signal lies quietly beneath. It’s found in building and connecting on honest foundations. Sovereign protocols like Bitcoin are the signal. The fiat attention economy? Just noise. The choice is yours.

@hodlonaut stop polluting the attention of bitcoiners with this shit, bitcoin has real issues that need to be solved, by continuing to spam the feed of many with this brainfart you actively contribute to less constructive communication and effectively make bitcoin worse

1/ The removal of Bitcoin Core's OP_RETURN limit in June 2025 was justified as "harm reduction." Criticism was met with accusations of "censorship". Let's look at the record. Who knew the limit was blocking their protocols. Who was routing around it. And who was counting on Core to remove it.
