Thanks to @Bradonohue4 and @westley27098 who brought this up. Here is Dyson’s speed numbers against Collingwood. 4th fastest for Maximum speed and 1st for average speed. #GoDons

I’ve seen a few people have concerns around Dyson Sharps pace. What I’ve observed with Dyson is that although he ain’t super quick, he’s very quick of mind and has a sharp reaction time. When you pair that with his footy IQ and his high work rate up and down the ground, contest to contest, once he’s played more games and fully picked up the speed of AFL footy, he’ll adjust and his lack of athletic pace won’t be an issue. #GoDons

@PatrickRyen @CraiG_Mc didnt he have the highest top speed or the highest average in one of his first few games? hes a good runner. hes no chris judd but he isnt slow
English

Anyone questioning his speed has absolutely no idea whatsoever. I've seen it with my own eyes. But the data backs it up. He's burst is outstanding and he will be fine. He isnt even 100% at the moment having had a setback with his ankle. The GPS doesnt lie and if anyone is in any doubt go check out the numbers.
Cant people actually let a kid find his feet at AFL level before criticising him?

The "we have to take a good look at ourselves " line from senior players becomes shallow to fans when no real tangible changes from those internal talks result in any consistent application of its learnings
Rohan Connolly@rohan_connolly
On FOOTYOLOGY, Essendon's paucity of on-field leadership is hardly a revelation, but appeared more stark than ever on Anzac Day, and that's not a good sign for a side with so much raw, young talent needing nurturing, says Rohan Connolly. footyology.com.au/once-again-ess…

@rhettrospective lol looks like brad scott lost him while defending

@NOLAJake its culture change but big shot surely wasnt an issue...i have no inside info clearly but how influential can big shot be?
English

@MrCricketAust why would they play him if they knew he was in that state? doesnt make sense.
English

Senior people at Carlton knew Elijah Hollands wasnt well and still played him. It seems Carlton players also knew and maybe in protest did not pass to Elijah, even for a cheap kick to get him in to the game. They seemed aware he was incorrectly selected and not ok! #AFLBluesPies

@MiniAnimales arent they just like big dolphins. they are smart and dont see us as food.

@bill_wints @absoessendon Unfortunately Chris Scott is an old AFL person. AFL won’t be happy if he is sacked!
English

@BomberRicko we need him getting up the ground and deliverying to our forwards. what a beautiful kick and good decision maker
English

@AflGlicko he did it perfectly. was under immediate pressure.
English

@7AFL @kanecornes such a bad decision. anywhere but there. theres a clear open player in that footage.
English

"Everyone involved in football knows that's the turnover zone ... that is exactly where they (the Bulldogs) wanted Perkins to kick the ball and you can not accept that as the coach of this footy club."
