For Memorial Day I would like to remind everyone that Donald Trump disrespected John McCain's service stating, "He's not a war hero", "He is only a hero because he was captured" and "He likes people who weren't captured" John McCain was offered early release when he was taken as a prisoner of war because his father was an important American military official, but John McCain REFUSED to leave captivity without the rest of the prisoners, voluntarily staying until everyone else could be released with him. Facts: the 1/6 mob caused 5 people to die, 140 LE officers to suffer severe injuries like cracked ribs, brain injuries, smashed spinal disks & more. And many more minor injuries and trauma. With 1000s of hours of video including from the rioters themselves it was the most recorded crime in US history (we prosecutors rarely have this much direct evidence). Approx 260 trials & only 2 people were acquitted (that’s a phenomenal record). Many defendants pleaded guilty (because they were). Not one defendant won a motion for selective or malicious prosecution or disclosure violations. Some of the judges overseeing cases were Trump appointed. Defendants had every legal process and rights and these were some of the most carefully scrutinized cases by DOJ ever. The highest sentences were the most serious offenders and/or people with extensive criminal histories. (Some judges questioned why the govt wasn’t seeking higher sentences actually). ⚖️

Bring on his talk of the affordability hoax, the cognitive test they give to people who have had traumatic brain injuries, and that we have the hottest economy in the world. Trump is cratering support with key demographics: republicans, non-MAGA GOP, white voters, rural voters. Democrats are winning election after election. Rob Sand may be the governor of Iowa! Greg Abbott says behind closed doors that a Democrat could win statewide. And even folks like Josh Hawley admit there are no GOP accomplishments to speak of. A Republican campaign built on maligning Americans’ cost of living concerns, a vanity ballroom, and a slush fund for criminals is a loser.

It’s actually much worse. There are Epstein victims who want to provide evidence to DOJ but are not being allowed to. But Ghislaine Maxwell gets two days with Blanche personally and then moves to a camp. The cover up is massive.

The same people who beat police officers and attacked the Capitol were pardoned by Trump — and now he wants taxpayers to cut them a check. Every American should be outraged.
