@FoodProfessor Excellent article. I returned from my winter home in Spain. I cannot believe the increase in food in 4 months. Our fridge was empty. We bought only necessities until the shock wears off. The food in Spain is superior & cheaper. I'm not gripping. How do poor the survive? Sad.🥺

@FoodProfessor It has been normalized in Canada. Even food banks cannot get enough food to distribute. The Great Economist of our time, Mark Carney has been successful in making Canadians poorer. We've never had it so good, according to him. It's only going to get worse. He hates Trump enough

PM Carney wants to create a new Crown corporation to invest in major projects across Canada—a sovereign wealth fund of sorts. He says it will operate at “arm’s length.” That’s highly doubtful. Justine Hendricks, CEO of Farm Credit Canada, a crown corporation, has declined to come on our show while appearing on other, more government-friendly Canadian podcasts. That tells you a lot about how politicized a Crown corporation can become.

Something is truly shifting in how Canadians are getting their news. Our podcast is now number one in Canada, even outperforming major American podcasts. We’re now ranked ahead of The Globe and Mail's podcast, BNN Bloomberg, and CNBC for business news. Access to unfiltered news is becoming increasingly important for Canadians. Thank you for listening! Off to Montreal today for SIAL Canada, where we’re proud to be the official podcast for the event.

@KristinRaworth Then call a byelection or sit as an independent until the next election cycle. These floor crossers were democratically elected to sit under the Conservative banner as Conservative MPs. Carney gamed the system to get a majority, something that's never happened in the Commonwealth

Michael. As you are well aware since I know you are a parliamentary geek and I’ve known you since you were 12, when you have a majority government, you get control of committees. This isn’t un democratic. This is the Westminster system.
Michael Cooper, MP@MichaelCooperMP

BREAKING The Liberals just RAMMED through a motion to seize control of ALL parliamentary committees. Carney is wasting no time abusing his new "majority" that he didn't earn at the ballot box to SHUT DOWN oversight & accountability. A MASSIVE UNDEMOCRATIC POWER GRAB.

Canadians elected a Liberal minority, not a majority and trying to build one is a power grab. I won't be crossing the floor. I won't betray the people who put their trust in me.

@FoodProfessor Absolutely. I stopped watching all TV news in April 2020. I fact check most everything I read. I only subscribed to Reuter's & the NP. Cancelled the G&M, government subsidies have turned it on its head. I also listen to a few podcasts. Confession: I must start listening to yours!

Carney goes on television to shit on deals other nations signed with America - meanwhile he was supposed to have a deal done last July. He was elected on that promise. A year later and we're no further ahead.

BREAKING @KellyDeRidderMP outlines how the Liberals have been actively trying to recruit her, to cross the floor. She outlines how they do it. How they engage in the conversations. And what they offered her. THIS IS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH DEMOCRACY. It’s all about power

Wages have grown faster than inflation every month Mark Carney has been Prime Minister - great news for Canada. But why doesn't the Bank of Canada aim for zero inflation, or deflation? And what about sectors with higher inflation or lower wage growth? Let's jump into it.

Lydia Miljan on CTV "So the equivalence would be we're going to be borrowing off the credit cards again to put money in an investment vehicle that we really don't know how it's going to be managed." "...And that's the other thing that Carney said, is that this fund is now going to be used not just as an investment vehicle, but as a funding mechanism for these big projects." "So I'm not sure how the math works for Mr. Carney." "Maybe you need a PhD in economics to understand this one." @MarkJCarney
