For anyone who still hasn't had the memo: - Oatmeal = sugar - Quinoa = sugar with a marketing degree - Brown rice = sugar wearing a tiny bran cardigan - Wholewheat bread = sugar that went to a wholesome photoshoot - Sweet potato = sugar the wellness influencers agreed to forgive "Complex carbohydrate" is one of the great triumphs of food branding. It sounds like something that takes effort to break down. Something virtuous. Something earned. It's a chain of glucose molecules holding hands. The chain breaks in your gut within minutes. By the time it crosses into your blood, it's the same glucose as a spoon of table sugar. Your pancreas has never once read a label. It doesn't care that the oats were steel-cut, organic, and recommended by a man in running shoes. It sees the glucose. It pumps the insulin. Same response. Every time. The packaging is for you. The bloodstream isn't fooled.

Greg Burgess writes.... So apparently Jill and I are on a plane to China with Trump, Elon Musk, half the Cabinet, and a collection of CEOs whose combined net worth could probably refinance the moon. Totally normal day for Gen X. And I just can’t stop laughing at how the media spent YEARS telling us: - China hated Elon - Trump was “finished” - America was collapsing - capitalism was dead - and everybody important was abandoning the U.S. Meanwhile, here we are somewhere over the Pacific looking like the cast of Succession meets Top Gun: Retirement Plan Edition. Remember when China sanctioned Marco Rubio back in 2020 and everybody acted like the geopolitical chessboard had permanently shifted? Now suddenly everybody’s still showing up to the table because — shocking development — nations tend to like: - money - technology - manufacturing - trade - AI - energy - semiconductors - and not being economically irrelevant Who knew. The best part is the internet meltdown cycle never changes. Trump: “America needs stronger trade relationships.” Media: “HITLER.” Elon: “I make electric cars, rockets, satellites, AI, and robots.” Internet activists: “Yeah but we posted an angry hashtag.” Cool. I’m sure Beijing is trembling before your TikTok resistance movement. And flying with this group is exactly what you think it would be. Trump walks around the cabin narrating reality like it’s an episode of Lifestyles of the Rich and Geopolitical: “Great flight. Powerful people. Very high IQ. The Chinese are saying they’ve never seen anything like it.” Elon looks like he hasn’t slept since 2019 and is simultaneously calculating orbital trajectories and wondering if the beverage cart could be automated. Meanwhile Jill and I are sitting there like two exhausted Gen Xers who survived dial-up internet, chain-smoking restaurants, lawn darts, and drinking from garden hoses… wondering how in the hell we became side characters in the weirdest timeline imaginable. Honestly, at this point if Trump walked into Beijing blasting “Danger Zone” while Elon live-streamed it from orbit, I wouldn’t even blink. Because the people who told us America was over are still tweeting from iPhones, driving Teslas, using Starlink during hurricanes, and cashing checks tied to the same capitalist machine they claim to hate. Gen X translation: The world’s still running. The adults are still making deals. And the internet is still confusing hashtags for accomplishments. Carry on.

This is untrue. It's an old hoax meme from the parody website "The Dunning-Kruger Times." I believe Obama is evil incarnate and is the most destructive American since the Civil War, but these made-up claims only serve to discredit us, not him. A skill I think we all need to master is to be able to intuitively spot hoaxes that otherwise appeal to our preconceived notions. If this meme had been about Trump, we would all have instantly known it's garbage. But because it's about Obama, too many on the Right instantly believe it. We need to do better.

UNBELIEVABLE. Vice President Vance just did a double take after hearing this wild stat dropped by Dr. Oz: "You're saying that we kicked off 800 fraudulent healthcare providers off of the Medicare system and not a single one of them called the government and said, 'hey, you made a mistake?'" "It's just completely insane."

🚨 BREAKING: The US Supreme Court has ruled 9-0 that freight brokers can be held LIABLE if they negligently hire unsafe trucking companies — including those with ILLEGAL ALIEN and FOREIGN drivers who violate CDL rules and cause accidents LFG! Start cracking down on the companies 🔥 The opinion, delivered by Barrett, confirms that federal law does not shield these brokers from state negligence lawsuits. This will likely help force brokers into being MUCH more careful about which carriers they use, because they want to avoid lawsuits PURGE THE CDL SYSTEM and hold all trucking companies liable! Non-English foreigners all over the roads needs to end.

This paper reads like a terrorist manifesto. With the rapid rise of tick borne illnesses, it’s beyond time to investigate if someone or some group is actually acting on these insane ideas.
TFTC@TFTC21

A peer-reviewed paper published last year in the journal Bioethics by two professors at Western Michigan University School of Medicine argues that it is "morally obligatory" to genetically engineer ticks to spread alpha-gal syndrome, a permanent condition that makes you violently allergic to red meat. The paper is called "Beneficial Bloodsucking." Their argument: if eating meat is morally wrong, then preventing the spread of a disease that forces people to stop eating meat is also morally wrong. Scientists should gene-edit lone star ticks to enhance their ability to carry alpha-gal syndrome and expand their range into urban environments to infect more people. They call this a "moral bioenhancer." They frame releasing genetically modified disease-carrying ticks as a "vaccination" that only "infringes" on your bodily autonomy rather than "violating" it. The distinction, apparently, is that a tick bit you instead of a government official holding you down. Alpha-gal syndrome is not mild. The CDC estimates up to 450,000 Americans are already affected. Cases have surged 100-fold in the last decade. Symptoms include anaphylaxis. There is no cure. Alpha-gal cases are exploding across the United States. The lone star tick's range is expanding far beyond its historical territory. And two academics at a medical school published a paper arguing this is a good thing that should be accelerated. At what point do we stop treating papers like this as fringe academic exercises and start asking whether anyone is already acting on them?

🚨 WTF?! VP Vance just exposed a SINGLE "immigrant" in Maine who stole $15 MILLION from Medicaid over five years, claiming to provide interpreter services while providing ZERO. Why the HELL are we paying for "interpreter services" for illegals anyway??! CUT IT ALL! "Rakiya Mohamed was not a particularly upstanding citizen...she was providing zero services and collecting $15 million over a five year period that was going directly into her pocket." And it happened almost entirely under the Biden administration, which never lifted a finger to stop it.

California Just Received Its Last Drop of Middle Eastern Oil. Nothing else is en route. California sits on over 1 billion barrels in proved oil reserves and produces about 250,000 barrels a day. Our refineries can handle 1.4 million. Instead 60 percent comes from foreign imports because decades of policy decisions made it impossible to produce our own. This crisis was not inevitable. It was chosen. #FixCalifornia wsj.com/business/energ…

Black Men Slaughter Tourist in Rich California Mall Three vicious black men from LA hunted down and murdered a defenseless 68-year-old New Zealand woman in broad daylight at upscale Newport Beach. They robbed her, ran her over, and dragged her body 65 feet like garbage. California’s soft policies let these repeat black thugs loose, turning paradise into a bloody third-world hell.

🚨 This is what the left calls “tolerance.” A young woman who detransitioned wanted to speak about her childhood transition, the damage it caused, and why open discussion matters. That’s it. No hate, just her lived experience and a plea for sanity. The “anti-fascists” responded with death threats: curb-stomping, shooting her like Charlie Kirk, claiming her words “literally kill people.” She canceled the event because she feared for her life and others. These are the same people who scream “protect transgender kids” while terrorizing anyone who dares say transition destroyed their life. The left doesn’t want debate. They want silence through violence and intimidation. They’ll cancel, dox, and threaten detransitioners back into the shadows so the public never hears the truth.

Democrats will burn your house down with incompetence, not issue the permits to rebuild it, and raise your taxes in the meantime, while attacking you for having to go live in a hotel. You can't imagine how depraved that is.

Man was living with his parents until Dems said he didn’t live in LA. Because his house burned down. So he put a trailer on the burned down lot to “satisfy” the stupid zip code bullies. Because his house burned down. Trailer doesn’t really work as living conditions, so they move into a hotel. BECAUSE HIS HOUSE BURNED DOWN
TMZ@TMZ

Spencer Pratt has gained traction in his campaign for L.A. Mayor by showing what he says Karen Bass did to his family -- forcing them to live in a trailer after his home burned down. Though, Pratt has really been staying at the Hotel Bel-Air for more than a month. Mind you, you can't get a room for less than $1,500 a night.
