Honestly super disappointed in @ShokzUSA and their support service after my headphones died during my first marathon and I only had them for 2 months. Getting warranty support that says 48 hour response shouldn’t be this difficult.

Honestly really disappointed in @TheSavBananas moving their Saturday game this weekend to tomorrow with no notice and no option to trade in for tickets to Sunday instead. Now I have to list them on their marketplace to hope someone buys them and maybe? get a refund. Really sucks.

@B52Returns @jaymart222 This is such a funny response because in 2009 when this was passed, the city council was much more conservative and likely did this as an attempt to reduce graffiti opportunities and make neighborhoods seem more alive rather than shuttered lol. It’s broken windows policy to a tee

This law which requires gates to be 70% more see thru was passed when most council members weren’t old enough to drink and is one of hundreds of unfunded housing mandates that go into effect years after the council members who passed them have left office. These local laws are a huge reason why housing in the city is so expensive. Thanks to @CBSNewYork for highlighting.

@jaymart222 I don’t know the history of the law/its purpose but it is ridiculous to 17 years later say well we shouldn’t have to abide by it because we didn’t plan. They could’ve put $1000 away for the first ten years and had enough according to his estimates. That’s not unreasonable.

Housing is above those ground floor businesses and when costs increase on part of the building they effect the whole building. More importantly why if a gate works perfectly fine should it be replaced? Further laws passed 17 years ago usually have less compliance over time when a city does nothing to remind operators of compliance deadlines.
