As the Province says they consulted with local businesses and neighbours and are bound by a “good neighbour agreement,” you would think they would have spoken to the closest neighbour to the proposed OPS site. I (@PeterMeiszner) spoke with Surrinder Sharma, who operates a Subway directly across the street from the proposed location. As you can hear in his own words, there was no consultation with him at all. He is now also losing the business of the dance studio that had to be moved out for the OPS that the Province is forcing into the neighbourhood without meaningful consultation. We can’t afford to go back. ABC Vancouver will continue fighting with residents and small business owners to keep our streets safe and keep Vancouver moving forward. #abcvancouver #publicsafety #affordablitily
