Quarantining all mail that has .htm .html and even .rtf attachments can also help. Have seen it stop a number of emails that would have otherwise ended up in someone's inbox.

In a critical moment like this, we rely on a solid disaster recovery procedure and distributed offsite backups, which now allow us to take control of the situation and not wait on @GCP for resolution.

UPDATE: The severity of the incident with our London DC has escalated and several hours ago we started our disaster recovery procedure. We are now restoring servers from offsite backups in our Amsterdam location and gradually putting them back online.
