The British Open is clearly trying to make sure Bryson DeChambeau doesn't win the tournament. None of the replays have showed him doing anything wrong. Not even close, really. It's insane.

Players walk down the line of site when in the rough all the time. This is ridiculous with the minimal amount of evidence and there’s zero chance Bryson DeChambeau intentionally tried to gain an advantage here.

Bryson is reportedly considering withdrawing. If that’s where this ends up, it’s an indictment of the R&A. The more cameras following you, the more likely you are to get penalized for something that would never be seen if you weren’t one of the featured groups. That’s not how the biggest championship in golf should be decided.

👣 Gotta be honest not sure on this one. From what I can understand the officials have assessed Bryson a 2 shot penalty for improving his lie, are inferring it wasn’t intentional, but his actions in walking backwards and toward the ball constitutes an infringement 🤨
