@FarmerSimonC Love your constant questioning and trialing. My headlands are usually 20% lower yielding so won’t be having a go at this. Yields have been shit for 2 seasons. I’m in no great rush to make them shitter. !!

Heavy rolling a few tramlines, trying to mimic the extra consolidation on higher yielding headlands. I just want to see if it really is the consolidation that makes so much difference.

@Merrittable Not putting anything in until rain appears on the forecast. Soils so dry. WOSR may not happen if no rain comes in August. Went from too dry to too wet last year in a 24 hr downpour in September. Challenging.

Instead of raising £1.8 billion, the tax raid on farmers and family businesses is expected to cost the Treasury £2 billion! Don’t they consult with business experts or independent economists before they introduce all these new taxes? Sorry, stupid question.
