100 years ago this man saved my Grandfather when the steamboat Norman sank. Memphis folks know about this (Tom Lee Park). Twitter sucks now but it would be something if anybody knew about this man. I wanna get him that medal somehow.

Kids today have no clue how cool sports posters all over your bedroom walls were in the 90s. Starting a 90s Costaco sports posters thread. Add what you got. I'll start with one of the best ever -
@thepetnationn@InternetH0F The top photo shows temps during a heat wave but 5 years ago they didn't use shaded colors to overlay air temps on the map. It's just a terrain map.
The bottom has shaded air temps, probably on a red scale because it's summer. Higher over avg... the darker red.
Conspiracy!!!
A downside to college basketball coaches all wearing pullovers is the lost tradition of them being so steaming mad at an official that they rip off their jacket and spike it on their chair, while purple in the face. Very few things could get a home crowd going like that.
Not to get in the way of anyone’s schadenfreude but: Is anyone else super creeped out that there is night vision video of the audience of a random regional performance of a musical?
“Complaining about the weather does no good.” “Complaining about the weather does no good.” “Complaining about the weather does no good.” “Complaining about the weather does no good.” Aw, son of a b*tch.

Vaxxed up. Me and the kids haven’t ever tested positive. The Mrs got it. She’s a teacher so no surprise. Had some fatigue but that’s it. Had some coughs here and there… but I’ll take that over the unknown of post covid problems.

I’ve spent my entire career trying to promote positivity. At my shows, off the stage, wherever I am. I don’t like division or hate. That’s why I responded to the previous tweet. Being crass, I replied bc I was offended by @JasonIsbell insinuation that “if you don’t write your own songs, you’re less than or not a real artist..”
@woogidyboogidy@GuyDealership Heard the same from a buddy. They see the used market weakening and aren't exactly dumping, but are getting it out of inventory while at the same time new sales are taking off.
Market pulse right now (spoke with many dealers)
- December was weak
- Jan is much busier than expected
- Lots of resilience in the market
Some dealers even outperforming January 2021
We’re seeing this as well. Sales are surprisingly steady.
