Every year, I like to save one Kirin Aki Aji for the latter part of the fall sumo tourney. It's more nostalgia then anthing else. Another odd tourney, but I can see who will be taking over the sumo spotlight in a couple of tournaments. And the Aki Aji was good too.

Heaps of fun had with this fine group of Sake Scholar students @brooklynkura ! We covered all 47 prefectures of Japan in a marathon 3 days through the lens of Nihonshu and Shochu. TY to these intrepid SSC students for coming from all over the US and Canada to take part 🙏🙏🙏

I will be teaching these advanced sake courses starting in November. The WSET Level 3 Award in Sake will be held at Toronto’s @iweg_canada. SSC Brooklyn @brooklynkura is almost sold out and it’s the last week to register for those considering it.
