@MallowTheQueen but then things end up feeling disconnected and easy to miss, so… idk. They should def utilize the Bungee blog more than they currently do

@MallowTheQueen It’s great that TWIDs have a predictable schedule, but then whenever there’s a light one (even before the current Dark Times) people complain about “why even post this if there’s no news” so to that extent a flexible “say something when there’s something to say” strategy works

Marathon concurrent on Steam are 1/3 of the peak but overall vibes of people still playing feel like they've shifted to a more positive place as they actually get a hang for the ideocracies and rhythms of the game.

@LukeCB14 Short-term: whatever, extra time for other games for a few months is perfectly fine with me.
Longer-term: I hope this doesn’t result in the Fate Saga story getting completely derailed, I’ve liked what it’s been doing so far and it *needs * to be finished before moving on to D3.

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels. Have heard Shadow and Order will in fact be delayed to make room for Marathon on March 5, given that it was supposed to come out on March 3. Not sure how long, or when it will be announced, however.

@NuCaloric Full new universe would be too much imo but I do want a *significant* timeskip between the end of the Fate Saga and D3 so there can be a new status quo with everyone starting out more or less on the same page.

I'm writing shit fanfic again but what would you guys think if D3 (lol) pulled a Final Fantasy and took place in a new universe while keeping a few recurring elements like Ghosts, the Traveler, etc. I think it'd be a cool way to recover this aura
