@SW_Help twice in one week for the days I have travelled the 537 has been cancelled from Ascot to Waterloo. It’s a poor setup, when the first train can’t run or is it an easy option to cancel. Turning up and seeing cancelled and then over 30 minutes to wait is a bad start.

@SW_Help almost every day the trains at Twickenham around 1910 are late. The boards do not reflect this for example the late running 1907 was still not there at 1912. The Reading train could never make 1913.

@carltonkirby we rode a lot of todays stage 10 on Saturday and you were just talking about the road surface. But do you know why it looks like the road is painted white so much? Was it cleaning the road for the tour?

Actually I mean stage 10 on day 11 🤪

@nedboulting we rode a lot of stage 11 today and it’s setup for the breakaway especially if it stays warm. Lots of ups and downs and easy for them to get away on the direction changes. Plus we love the podcast the 3 of you plus special guests in the car are excellent.

@SW_Help why is it between 840pm and 940pm there is no train on the Waterloo to Reading line at Twickenham? It’s every half an hour except for the 911 that does not exist?

#bbccycling at the side of the road waiting on the riders for #tdf just outside of Belonchamp. We climbed the top of Planche yesterday needs an extra shut up legs on there to make it.

@SW_Help I am on the train on the way to Reading and just getting to Ascot where it will terminate. The guard telling passengers to get on local buses from ascot when there are none is a little crazy.

@copenhenken @EuCyclistsFed The embankment cycle section is fantastic, away from the traffic and always plenty of users even in December and January on there. It's much safer than a number of points if you keep going alongside the river towards Putney where the cycle lane is a series of paint markings.

Separate bike lanes make sense! This one may look half empty, but it carries about the same number of people as the much wider, but still congested double car lanes… at about the same speed… and in two directions! @EuCyclistsFed

We have a big garage at #Sainsburys Holborn for bikes but we could do much more in stores for those cycling.

@SW_Help again short formation train from Ascot to Waterloo at peak time with the 7:38. Given the current situation this hardly gives confidence to people to use the train. No point playing messages about distancing on a train with less space than we transport animals.
