Bernie ran for president as a Democrat twice, used their debate stage, donor lists, and primary infrastructure both times, then turns around and says “I’m not a member of the party” the second anyone asks him to own its problems. Can’t have it both ways forever.

It would be good to see more mainstream Democrats disavow unpopular ideas advanced by the radical Left, just as Donald Trump has disavowed unpopular ideas advanced by the radical Right on the issues Jessica mentions.

There was plenty senators could have asked Dr. Fauci about what lessons he learned, and the country should, from the COVID pandemic. Instead they engaged in an obvious attempt to demonize and entrap the 85-year-old, who received the Medal of Freedom from a Republican POTUS for the work he did to save millions here and abroad from the AIDS epidemic. This was not about public health. It was about one senators longstanding vendetta.
