This site is amazing. It touts things like: 1. Section 179 expensing, tax deductions & deferred capital gains - as 15,000 farms closed in 2025 2. $285M to promote agriculture exports & 90% SBA loan programs - as ag exports fell $5B. And that we paid $40B in total ag assistance. 3. Touts a forced expansion of ethanol purchases - the world’s most wasteful and complicated welfare program. For a bonus is has a map where it says things like it has saved 40,700 North Carolina “family” farms the past year. There are 42,871 farms in the state overall, with 35,740 classified as family farms. So we “saved” more farms than existed before. Amazing stuff.
The White House@WhiteHouse

🚜 Curious how American farmers are benefiting right now — or exactly how much each state has saved? 👀📲 ONLYFARMS.GOV

During a Cabinet meeting, President Trump spent five minutes talking about a pen he was holding. He claimed the company gave him a deal to make Sharpies look more official. Sharpie maker Newell Brands said the conversation as Trump related it did not happen. wapo.st/4bLTOWd

@AcrossAisle @DittiePE I don’t agree with Biden’s pardons but I understand the motivation. I think the justice system should have been relied on if the Trump DOJ decided to charge them. But that doesn’t make Trump’s pardons-for-sale industry remotely defensible. It’s on another level.

@blink64 @DittiePE So it would be better if Trump issued blanket pardons that cover 5+ years for ANY potential crime…???

Republicans are not serious people. Trevor Milton, convicted of defrauding investors, was pardoned after pouring nearly $2 million into pro-Trump political committees. Paul Walczak, convicted of siphoning $10 million from employees’ paychecks, was pardoned weeks after his mother contributed $1 million to a Trump super PAC — her largest-ever political donation. Julio Herrera Velutini, a foreign billionaire charged with bribery, received a pardon after his 25-year-old daughter — whose only previous political donation was $20 to Pete Buttigieg — suddenly gave $3.5 million to a Trump super PAC. $2 billion in restitution wiped out allegedly by pardons sold at $1-2 million a pop. It’s a pretty good deal if you can get it. democrats-judiciary.house.gov/media-center/p… ms.now/news/justice-i…

Trump pardoned 77 people this week that stole from Medicare. This flew under the radar. I believe Trump is selling pardons which is enough to send Trump away.

@AcrossAisle @DittiePE And now we see why. This DOJ is trying to charge Trump’s “enemies”. And they’re failing miserably at it. The difference Trump’s pardons are for *convicted* fraudsters, always timed after large donations to him or his allies.

Don’t let Republicans in DC gaslight you. Using reconciliation, Congress was able to go around the filibuster and pass a bill with less than 60 votes in the senate. It was called the Big Beautiful Bill. What did it do? It added hundreds of billions of dollars of new spending.

The Post called the White House. But the name attached to the number read “Epstein Island.” A Google Maps error labeled the White House as “Epstein Island” on some Android phones. Google reversed the edit and the White House said it was an external issue. wapo.st/3NR5I9s

DHS is now 42 days into a partial shutdown because the House and Senate appear to be operating in two completely different realities. After weeks of trying & failing to negotiate a full agreement, Senate Majority Leader Thune made a deliberate, strategic call to pass what could pass right now. At 2:00 a.m., the Senate voted to fund most of DHS — reopening TSA, FEMA, the Coast Guard, and cybersecurity operations — to stop airport chaos & get essential workers paid. The absurd part is that ICE & CBP are not even the agencies being harmed by this shutdown. Thanks to advance appropriations in last year's Big Beautiful Bill, they've continued operating as normal with access to over $100 billion in existing funds. They're getting paid. TSA officers, Coast Guard members, & FEMA staff are the ones being used as leverage. That's why this wasn't some naive concession by Thune, or even really a concession at all. Thune has been clear that additional ICE & CBP funding will be handled through budget reconciliation, where Senate Republicans don't need Democratic votes and can pass border funding on their own terms. Speaker Johnson immediately rejected the bill passed by the Senate last night, calling it a "joke", and instead is pushing a new 60‑day CR that includes ICE funding... a bill that is DOA in the Senate. And Johnson knows the Senate has already left for a scheduled recess, meaning the House is effectively passing legislation to nowhere. Thune tried to solve the immediate crisis & preserve a viable path to ICE/CBP funding. For reasons that make no sense strategically or procedurally, Johnson is blowing that up. And the shutdown will continue.

The long lines at airports now falls squarely on Speaker Johnson's shoulders. The Senate unanimously passed a bill to fund TSA, FEMA, and the Coast Guard. But Speaker Johnson is refusing to let the House vote on it. If you miss your flight, remember, this shutdown is on him.

Trump pardoned dozens of his fellow convicted felon fraudsters: Medicare scammers, Ponzi schemers, tax cheaters, and corporate ripoff artists. But he also handed them a giant financial windfall. His pardon spree in just one year wiped out more than $1.5 BILLION these fraudsters (both US citizens and foreigners) owed to their American victims and U.S. taxpayers, letting them keep their ill-gotten gains and cheating their victims out of restitution. Maybe JD Vance, Trump’s sycophant shilbilly and America’s leading authority on political impersonation and fraud, could investigate this massive pay-to-play pardon fraud and come up with a way to make all the defrauded American victims whole. Anything else is just more fraud.
JD Vance@JDVance

For far too long, illegal alien fraudsters and criminals have been allowed to scam Americans out of their hard-earned tax dollars. That stops now. Colin McDonald will be a key asset to the DOJ and the President's War on Fraud. nypost.com/2026/03/24/us-…

@mirrormerecos @shipwreckedcrew That’s really naive. The purpose is to intimidate citizen voters who “look illegal”. We have seen dozens of cases of US citizens being detained, even if they had ID on them. Often for days without access to a lawyer or an opportunity to contact anyone.

It's frightening that you don't understand why place active military troops at a polling place is different that placing civilian law enforcement at a polling place to insure no election laws are violated. That's sort-of their job.

Frightening that the #2 at Justice didn’t know this—or maybe he did, which is even more frightening.

EU says Elon should not lie abt my blue check
A lot of short memories here. The reason DOJ wanted to put Trump and his associates in jail is because they committed crimes, INCLUDING lying to cover up Trump's real ties to Russia in 2016. Many confessed to those crimes. Hell, Todd Blanche himself watched a jury convict Trump in NY.
Todd Blanche@DAGToddBlanche

A lot of short memories here. Biden’s DOJ and the Democrat machine tried for years to put President Trump and his associates in jail. They did everything in their power to destroy livelihoods, reputations, and families. They weaponized the government, and that’s something that we cannot and will not forget — they’re corrupt enough to try again.
