The only reason drone warfare isn’t treated like nerve gas or land mines under international law is because it isn’t the West’s sons dying from it. As soon as it’s not Ivans being blown to bits but Johns and Toms the “discussion on the ethics of drone warfare” will become a mainstream talking point.
WarRoom Archives@WarRoomArchives

Drone warfare has reached such a level that many fighters have lost hope of escaping or resisting. For example, the final strike on the barracks is terrifying.

I was Marriott’s Ambassador Elite — their highest rewards tier. My wife was sexually harassed at their hotel in Doha. When I complained, the hotel had me prosecuted. I was jailed, deported, banned for five years. I lost my job. Marriott now say the claims were “not substantiated by the available evidence.” Here’s a gift link past the paywall so you can decide for yourself. If you think Marriott are wrong, reshare and say why. thetimes.com/article/447b8e…

Many young children are fanatical about Vijay. They are expecting him to be the next Chief Minister. None of us know how results would be on May 4th. Stalin or EPS may win. I don't think Vijay would be able to win enough seats to form the government. I may be wrong. But this is my view as of now. Keep a watch on close watch on kids on the counting day. Even if Vijay is unable to become the Chief Minister, explain them it is not end of the road. There would be opportunities in future. At this impressionable age, given they are fanatical about Vijay, they may not have maturity to handle disappointments. Please keep a watch and ensure they don't hurt themselves. I don't know what they see in Vijay. All women labourers working in our apartment have not only voted for Vijay but also been doing voluntary work for his party. Yesterday my wife went for a marriage reception. The discussion everywhere is currently about elections. All the youngsters who came for the function seems to have voted for Vijay. Two things. I don't understand why people are so obsessed about Vijay. But the reality is a section of population blindly adores him. Like rest of you, I'm also eager to know people's mandate on May 4th. Given the intensity with which many kids adore Vijay, I'm writing this post. Keep a close watch on them on May 4th. If they get disappointed, explain them there are always future opportunities in politics. Please ensure not even a single kid hurt themselves. I felt this is extremely important and that's why decided to write this. Elders in the family need to keep a close watch on kids.

Out of those who got a Rajya Sabha from AAP, how many were ideologically connected to the party or the anti constitution andolan…..most of them given a seat were either with big money bags or big influence folks….. On the other hand a few who were with Kejriwal from his IAC days were denied the posts on some reason or other!!! Now you can blame media or any other party for this split, but the joke is on you

Experienced this firsthand earlier this week during my stay at the same property. It had less to do with Patna and more with the hotel’s policy of hiring specially-abled people. I hope other hotels in the city follow this example.

Rajya Sabha Secretariat sources indicate that all formalities related to the merger have been completed. A letter from AAP MPs, listing seven members, has been received and formally acknowledged by the BJP. The entire process has also been cleared by the Rajya Sabha Chairman. Under the provisions of the Tenth Schedule, a merger requires a two-thirds majority—this condition has been met in the present case, and therefore, the question of disqualification does not arise.

Pakistan feels it has gained some political credibility post its mediation efforts on the Iran war, even if they have ended in a whimper, believing that it can diplomatically capitalise that gained space against India. Trump’s favourite Field Marshal is pushing this. Pakistan knows that it will not get anywhere in the UN Security Council on the Kashmir issue and the Indus Waters Treaty. But Pakistanis have to satisfy their India- related compulsive obsessions.

The issue is that the bigotry from the nativist right did not emerge in a vacuum. On the contrary, it draws on rhetoric deployed by activist groups firmly entrenched within the progressive establishment. Allegations of Hindu ethnic nepotism, dual loyalty, cultural incompatibility were all platformed by leftist orgs in the service of "anti-Hindutva" activism. But now that we're seeing bigotry from the right, it's suddenly a problem and the blame is placed at the feet of the very advocacy orgs who have spent years defending the diaspora against these attacks.
Ishaan Tharoor@ishaantharoor

It’s weird times for Indians in America. But pull out the world’s smallest violin for the lobby group that seemed to welcome Trump’s bigotry in other directions, but is now crying foul when he turns, as was always going to happen, against them

The US dollar is in trouble. Sell bonds while you can! Qalibaf: The front line of the strike against America is the financial war! 🔹The Speaker of the Parliament, in response to news about the restriction on the sale of bonds by the UAE and Arab countries, wrote on his X account: Currency swap lines, according to the US Treasury Secretary, have been activated to "prevent the irregular sale of US assets" by Arab countries. This news means that some bondholders cannot freely sell their shares and have been restricted by the US from selling their assets! 🔹The Speaker referred to the sensitivities of the US financial system regarding bond sales and added: In fact, there is an unwritten sales ceiling that government and institutional investors are obliged to observe. If the situation worsens, the sale of these shares will be completely closed! 🔹Qalibaf warned the holders of these bonds: Sell your bonds while you still can. Their front line is actually the bond yield curve. IRGC channel @SepahPasdaran

The #1 factor that determines whether you succeed in life is you. It isn’t “the patriarchy.” It isn’t the Jews. It isn’t the Muslims. It isn’t the billionaires. It isn’t the foreigners. It isn’t white people. It isn’t black people. It's time for us to move on from victimhood culture in America.

Indian spacetech startups shift to defence, with 70–80% revenue from govt contracts vs minority commercial. Demand driven by faster procurement and geopolitical tensions; firms like Pixxel, GalaxEye pivot to surveillance use-cases. Market access constrained by US/EU alignment choices.
