‼️ China's biggest cybersecurity company, Qihoo 360 (461M users), just leaked their own wildcard SSL private key inside the public installer for their new AI assistant "360 Security Claw." The private key for *.myclaw.360.cn was bundled directly in the download package under /namiclaw/components/OpenClaw/openclaw.7z/credentials. The cert is valid until April 2027. Attackers can now impersonate their servers, intercept user traffic, and forge login pages. Fun fact: the founder promised the product would "never leak passwords."

The CEO of @system76 met with Colorado lawmakers today, in an attempt to convince them to add an “exemption for open source software” to their version of California’s “Age Verification for all Operating Systems” law. “Our concerns were heard and shared. The next step is exchanging and discussing specific language changes to the bill including an exemption for open source software.” Adding, “We hope to make sensible, strong arguments for excluding open source which then becomes a standard for other states. It's going to be difficult.”

this is so fucking wholesome guy used AI to save his cancer-ridden dog by sequencing its DNA and creating a CUSTOM cure. the tech behind this is fucking awesome (well done @demishassabis and the google team): - used CHATGPT to sequence dogs DNA discovers mutations - ran the mutations through Google’s Alphafold (AI protein sequencer) which CREATED A CUSTOM VACCINE TO TREAT THEM. - treated dog and reduced tumour by 50% in WEEKS. dog is alive and well. - this is the 1st time AI has been used to create a custom vaccine for a dog (and it worked) - dude is now working on similar vaccines for humans using AI! 2026 is definitely the year we see AI change personalised medicine in a HUGE way so sick

@_A_khalifa The UK is the pot calling the kettle black. Fines or arrest for posting offenses, where anyone can say they are offended by anything. Like you saying "Babe". I follow the laws and rules when visiting a country even if I don't fully agree with laws like this.

Because, you know, we’re a proper rule of-law country here. We don’t just let anything threaten people’s safety and security. Sure, maybe in Britain you guys are cool with total chaos and letting everything slide… but in Dubai? Babe, things are different. 😏

Full of lies and inaccuracies. This wasn't an attack on a parade float; it was a valid strike on an enemy military asset in a hot war. Optics strained US-India ties and if the US could help rescue survivors that would be the right thing to do, sure, but facts over lies and feelings. Timeline & Participation Lies: MILAN 2026 exercise in India ended on Feb 25, 2026. The US-Israel ops against Iran started Feb 28—three days later. Both US and Iran FULLY participated in the exercise, including the fleet review and sea phases. No early withdrawals by either side (despite some repositioning of US assets post-event for ops readiness). Claims of US "premeditation" via withdrawal hours before are false, submarine ops are covert and unrelated to exercise schedules. This wasn't a setup during a neutral event; war changed the rules after it concluded. Ship's Status & "Unarmed" Myth: IRIS Dena (Moudge-class frigate) left Indian waters right after Feb 25 after the parade concluded in which Iran and US FULLY participated and was BEFORE the war started, Dena left without staying in India or declaring neutral status/safe haven or declaring destination for neutral waters per international protocols. It was heading back to Iran to join the war that started while it was away, logical for an active warship amid Iran's naval mobilization. Indian officials confirmed it was no longer "India's guest" post-departure, ending any protection. Attack Location & Maritime Law Reality: Sunk Mar 4 in INTERNATIONAL WATERS (high seas, ~40nm off Galle, Sri Lanka), not near India or in any protected zone. Under laws of naval warfare (San Remo Manual, customary int'l law), enemy warships in open waters during active conflict are LEGITIMATE TARGETS. No need for "imminent threat"; it's standard Rules of Engagement. US framed it as degrading Iran's capabilities (self-defense under UN Charter Art 51). This aligns with precedents like 1988 Operation Praying Mantis. Rebuts "violations of maritime norms." It wasn't in an EEZ needing permission. Rescue & "Ethical Lapse" Overreach: Geneva Conventions (Art 18, 2nd Conv) require aiding shipwrecked where feasible, including potential POWs. But fast-attack subs (Virginia/LA-class) aren't built for rescues—limited space, stealth priorities mean they can't surface safely. US didn't assist directly (no breach, as ops risks apply), but Dena's distress call at 0508 brought Sri Lankan Navy: 32 survivors rescued (treated in Galle, to be released—no POW status), 87 bodies recovered, Indian Navy helped search for missing (10-60 est). Critics cry "no rescue," but coordination with allies handled it. Not an "ethical lapse."

An Iranian sailor who was killed when the warship Dena was struck by the US near Sri Lanka had called his father shortly beforehand, saying American forces had issued two warnings for the crew to abandon the vessel, a source close to the family told Iran International. The Iranian navy warship's commander refused to allow the crew to abandon Dena despite the imminent threat, the source added. The sailor’s father said some crew members argued with the commander, and the 32 crew members who survived were mainly sailors who managed to escape on lifeboats, according to the source. A US submarine torpedoed Dena in the Indian Ocean on Wednesday, about 19 nautical miles from the southern Sri Lankan port of Galle, killing dozens of sailors and significantly expanding Washington’s campaign against Iran’s naval forces. The sinking of the Dena — described by US War Secretary Pete Hegseth as a “quiet death” — marked the first time since World War II that the United States had torpedoed an enemy warship. iranintl.com/en/202603071125

Everyone needs to know the extent of what the U.S did. An unarmed Iranian ship invited to a joint Indian naval exercise paraded its sailors before the president alongside other participants, including the U.S. At the last minute, the U.S. withdrew from the exercise and torpedoed the Iranian vessel, then reportedly refused to rescue the survivors, leaving the Sri Lankan Navy to recover bodies from the water.

UAE seems to be getting targeted the most, but has done well to defend. Only a couple civilian fatalities and a dozen or so injuries. 100% of missiles, 94% of drones stopped short of their target.
