Renewed my #CCIE and 50+ other certs from Cisco for another 3 years. Even as an instructor #CCSI, we still have to do #CE's or recert just like everyone else. You would think teaching #Cisco would give you some #CE's for each class, we do learn while teaching ~ fun questions, feedback, and shared experiences. Still a great program and one of the best investments I've made.

I guess to wrap this up, this was the final result. Haven't had a scale since day 18 - so total drop from 1st - 18th was 9lb. A few weeks at maintance then we can start pushing calories again. #wehackhealth

Today, @SANSInstitute recognized me as the instructor of the year. I am genuinely humbled, since I see how much dedication, skill, and craft SANS instructors puts into every class. Teaching is a calling and a privilege, for which I am forever grateful.

I always asked myself how do I make a difference in the world. I built DerbyCon with friends to help and impact others. Then I built TrustedSec. Then I built Binary Defense. Now this. It's just the beginning. I now have an army of the best and most brightest talented people in the cyber security industry willing to help folks that would have never had a chance in this field or in stem. We're all aligned - change these kids lives for the better, get them into this industry and other tech related fields - and impact communities around the country.
