No Nathan MacKinnon, Valeri Nichushkin, Ross Colton or Brent Burns on the ice at #Avs morning skate ahead of Game 4.

Third Most Albertan Man in the World
@GoldenHcky Literally anyone in the NHL can skate end-to-end with the puck when they are unopposed. This takes PeeWee level skill. The Slovak defenders just wave him right on through, and don't even try to cut off the pass. This isn't offensive brilliance; it is defensive malpractice.

Feel brutal for Wild fans. That team was so good and you lose your best center and a stud top 4 d man against the best team in the league. Just a kick in the dick. Minnesota sports fans are pros at getting their hearts ripped out.

@Bains0613 @NHL_Sid Which is great, I love Podz, but walking away from a homegrown top6 talent is buffoonery.

I think Edmonton's skater group was good enough to win the Pacific and make it to the WCF. The fact it didn't is largely because of coaching, IMO. But, the goal should be a cup, and the roster was far inferior to COL/CAR/etc. Mgmt. has somehow made the goaltending worse. And...

Ridiculous stat, from @NHLPR: * Nathan MacKinnon has scored a goal in 46.2% of his career playoff games (48/104 GP), tied with Craig Simpson (31/67 GP; 46.2%) for the third-highest rate in NHL history, behind Mario Lemieux (58/107 GP; 54.2 %), Mike Bossy (60/129 GP; 46.5%)

@Rudedeck I don't know that I would call him that. He's elite, but not generational. Didn't break 100pts until he was 27. Kuch is above him and I wouldn't say Kuch is generational either. That's not a slam at either, generational just shouldn't be thrown around at every decent player.

@LyleYou30525717 @JasonGregor I don't see anything that shows he's not coachable. He is a great leader in my opinion. I believe the coach didn't coach, or plan, or prepare for matchups. That lead to his demise.

@JasonGregor They need a coach who can handle McDavid or pull the “C” off of his chest! He is unquestionably the best player in hockey today but appears to be uncoachable.

Oilers will make it official later this morning but they have parted ways with Kris Knoblauch. In his three seasons as head coach, Edmonton played the most playoff games in the league (53). Edmonton had played 49 playoff games in their 17 seasons prior to hiring him. Can Oilers land Bruce Cassidy as their next head coach? Or will it be someone else?

When I was first starting out in radio I did a little bit of everything around the station. While in Cranbrook, I was able to help out with post game coverage for the Kootenay Ice. This was an incredibly intimidating environment to be in as young as I was and being female.

@NHL_Sid To be fair of the Broberg and Holloway issue, he was only in the job a month. I personally put the blame of that on Jeff Jackson.

The Jarry trade and the decision not to match Holloway alone are probably enough to merit a firing. And while I was/am highly critical of Holland's tenure, Bowman has yet to acquire a player of Ekholm or Hyman's level.

Brett Kulak is currently Colorado's No. 3 defenceman by playoff ice-time. He's playing more minutes at 5v5 than Cale Makar.
