One problem with X is the constant major changes. Some people like @DrClownPhD (Sorry for using you as an example) are trying to make this their primary source of income in the same way people make a living off YouTube but when there's major random changes to the algorithm with little to no communication and changes like this it makes the platform too unreliable to go all in on when you have bills to pay. I'm nowhere near the point of trying to make X my primary source of income and I would like to one day but when the game and rules change significantly out of the blue I don't see ever being able to rely on it fully. We really need more stability and better communication of algorithm and platform changes, like one issue I'm having right now is I'm seeing lots of posts flagged as adult content when most aren't, it seems totally random and it really kills the reach of the post. Anyways, I'm done yapping.

This week, several of us were demonetized by @TeamYouTube for "inauthentic content." None of us received an explanation. Myself (@blvcklightai?si=_ONM9ogeiKqBNbwi" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@blvcklightai?…
) is a two-time Escape Awards-winning AI filmmaker whose work has been exhibited internationally and across multiple streaming platforms. Aze Alter (@azealter?si=JIvdVFeVvI1G1oQO" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@azealter?si=J…) is a writer and director behind some of the most recognized sci-fi worldbuilding series in the AI filmmaking space, with 230K+ YouTube subscribers. Mart Zien (@azealter?si=JIvdVFeVvI1G1oQO" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@azealter?si=J…) is a Cannes-credited film producer whose AI work has swept major festivals, been covered in Forbes, and been cited on the Masters of Scale podcast. Javi Lopez (@javilopen?si=FU6UouE386mQAOOQ" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@javilopen?si=…) is the founder of Magnific AI, a tool used in the VFX of a major Robert Zemeckis film starring Tom Hanks. One search tells you exactly who we are and what we do. So when @TeamYouTube and @YouTubeCreators label our work "inauthentic" with no definition, no breakdown, and no appeal path worth using, that's not moderation. That's a platform that has stopped being able to tell the difference between spam and craft. @nealmohan What does "inauthentic content" actually mean? Who decides? And why are so many creators receiving this simultaneously with no explanation? If you were hit with this, reply. Share what was affected and what reason you were given. Not to vent. To document. Platforms count on creators being too scattered to connect the dots. Let's connect them.
