I lived in 5 different countries in my 16 years of living. Reminds me of a kaleidoscope. Living in one place - I learn a new culture and meet new people. Creating a mural within me of everything I picked up. The knob turns, I move to another country. Another mural.

I agree on the points being made about the role that the media has on dehumanization, especially in contrast to black and white individuals. But, as a society what all do you think we can do to change this labeling? #socraticmse

@Chloganras I believe the issue is the entire infrastructure. Officers get paid more for every ticket/criminal brought in. This incentivizes cops to target minorities because they're seen as "easy targets" = more money. The whole system has to change. #socraticmse

Do you think training cops to use non lethal weaponary to immobilize someone they feel threatened by instead of killing them would help the epidemic of police brutality? Or is this sentiment and corruption rooted too deeply in our system, requiring massive changes. #socraticmse
