The “1-9” argument is so trash not only because Pippen was just 10ppg in the first series MJ won but LeBron missed the playoffs more than MJ her losing first round is worse than missing the postseason? And winning fewer titles in 50% more seasons is better?

LBJ was freaking 22 years old and had total garbage for a lineup, I don’t care how easy it was. It took MJ 7 years and a much better lineup and coach.

Why LeBron will never be the GOAT. LeBron James has done everything there is to do in basketball. -Multiple championships and Finals MVPs on multiple teams. -His name is on every top 5 list. -He has broken virtually every NBA record. -He is the oldest player performing at this level. -The longevity alone is unprecedented. By every measurable standard he should be the undisputed GOAT. But the GOAT debate was never about stats for Jordan fans and old heads. It never was. It’s a mindset. A religion almost. Jordan is the GOAT and that position is permanently closed regardless of what LeBron does or doesn’t do. To them LeBron isn’t competing for the title. He’s just auditioning for a role he’ll never get.

@24Dparks No. Specifically to your two year reference, in 2024 - his playoff averages were 27 points, 9 assist and 8 rebounds, in 2025 it was 25, 9 and 6. This year, 23, 8 and 7. That’s not noticeable

@vancemeek He was 1-9 in playoff games prior to Pippen. He didn’t win titles before or after Pippen and Jackson. Before that, he had a reputation as a stat padder at the expense of team success. He didn’t become a complete (great) player until Pippen and Jackson.

Let's be honest... LeBron had a solid series against the Durant-less, weak Houston Rockets. The Lakers are gonna get absolutely torched by the Oklahoma City Thunder. They'll be lucky to win a game. And when they do, you can't use age or being without Luka as an excuse.
