@FlattenTheLies And that side parting, so 2018. And she didn't do her top button up. Let me see if I can pick any more holes and avoid the message, hold on...

Did she give a speech about the “hatred” in her own community? Smashing each others heads in with hatchets! Also what’s a “Tri-flag”??

@LFJIreland They're not disgusted by the tricolour, they're disgusted by the ignorance of those who wave it

Remember these members of the Oireachtas who labelled and denigrated the Irish people and expressed their disgust at the flying of our national Tricolour by our country's own people. Remember how unfit and unwilling they were to serve us. Consider how they managed to get into their positions. Make sure they are never there again. 🇮🇪

"The protests were overtook by the far-right" Senator Eileen Flynn says she won't attend any protest that has a tricolour

@AlDub8484 @JakeFitzsimons Have you made the slightest attempt to speak to them? From your high-horse there, what is the Travelling community's issue? Is it the same stupidity the Irish had in the 1840s?

@bodianvolcoe @JakeFitzsimons Her community? You mean the 80% unemployment, drugs, incest, thieving old people, dumping hazardous waste on farm land? To name but a few…can you name any positives to offset my negatives?

@DebsUncensored We shouldn't bother with other nations, we should be proud of our own Amazon data centres and our stoic ability to work 12hr shifts and not complain...sure we're Irish 🇮🇪

Don't mind this gowl. Last year, she had a shit fit because no one in Ireland recognised that it was hijab day. It occurs on the same day as a national IRISH holiday, St. Brigid's Day. Giving out because we're not celebrating the oppression of women, tool that one.

🚨An Irish senator just admitted her own national flag terrifies her. She called it a “disgrace” to see the Irish tricolour at protests, claiming it scares her. Get these woke people out of government.

@diversedeviant @MangoCat680682 @ClareDalyIRL The Irish are friendly and warm and open and keep that with them no matter where they go. The 'Ireland' of Twitter in 2026 seem to see that as something to just put on a tshirt and sell.

To be clear, Eileen Flynn lives in Ardara, Co. Donegal. approx. 1,000 people in the small town took part in a fuel protest decorated in tricolours, OUR national flag. She denounced them as racists. This woman does not represent the people of Donegal at all.
Shane Corr ☘️@Default69202648

Lots of threads today on Eileen Flynn which are replete with racist, bigoted and misogynistic commentary. If politicians of established parties were as committed to their constituents, as Eileen Flynn is to her community, there would have been need for fuel protests last week.

I have absolutely 0 issue as a leftist saying that Eileen Flynn is entirely underqualified and a government pawn. Flynn is inarticulate and lacks understanding of Irish society as a whole. She was handpicked by Micheál Martin, and does what he asks. Stop playing into their hands.

@ClareDalyIRL Speak for yourself. Irish people aren't a monolith. I support Israel and not radical Islamists. I'm sick and tired of seeing people on social media either speaking for the world or on behalf of an entire nation. My views are mine. I would never presume to speak for anyone else.

@SquidDavey @ClareDalyIRL There are a number of Jewish groups who join the monthly marches in London for Gaza. Blaming 'Jews' is simplistic and plays into the hands of Zionists.

37 years ago, 97 people went to a football match and never came home. The state lied. The press lied. And grieving families were shamefully smeared. But they, and the city of Liverpool, never stopped fighting. They secured the truth. But the fight for justice isn’t over. Keir Starmer, stand by your words and deliver the Hillsborough Law NOW. #JFT97 #YNWA

Recently, I've gone quiet on here because it felt futile. This decision by the national concert hall is egregiously antisemitic. The producers of the play are both Irish and all thet wanted to do was replicate the voices of those innocent civilians who suffered one of the worst massacres of our time. A massacre which was designed solely to kill as many Jews as possible. That's not our interpretation that's from the words of the maths of the Hamas monsters who videoed themselves. And yes, it was to raise funds for a charity first responder ambulance service which is based in Israel and which manages all casualties without fear or favour including any terrorists who are injured on Israeli soil. it is a non-political organisation, it deals with sick and injured patients: none of this should be influenced by any views about aspects of Israeli government policy about which I and so many others have many deep criticisms Of all the things that have happened in Ireland, of all the protests, the rhetoric, the hate - this decision by the board of presumably educated people is for me the most sickening.
Ann McElhinney 🧡@annmcelhinney

Imagine being so consumed by arrogance, so morally inverted, so breathtakingly ignorant that you look at a verbatim play documenting the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust—and decide to cancel it. Not quietly. Not shamefully. But during the very week the civilized world falls silent to honor six million Jewish men, women, and children who were hunted, starved, and gassed into oblivion by the Nazis. You don’t have to imagine it. Ireland’s National Concert Hall—bankrolled by the Irish taxpayer, draped in the language of culture and public service, supposedly a house belonging to the Irish people—did exactly that. With breathtaking coldness. With institutional cowardice dressed up as policy they looked Holocaust Remembrance Week in the eye and chose censorship anyway. @NCH_Music
