Haha dude. You know nothing of my life, I'm a roofer that grew up in the days when my home was dubbed 'Shottingham' due to being the gun capital of the UK. I don't understand why you keep jumping to these conclusions when you know nothing about me. What gives, man?

Extend the concept. Instead of asking specific members, ask the community and let members decide. One step further, let the first $10/mo be taken from premium already paid (even if you have to raise premiums by $10 to account for it). When the first $10 is members deciding where their premium is going it’s basically free to them plus the warm and fuzzies of knowing they’re helping other members. Watch many give more than $10 every month.

FEBRUARY - Member had a $1500 ER VISIT. Requested help from the Crowd. Member paid the first $500. We asked for $1000 from 4 members. They all declined. Context: I’m actively considering CrowdHealth bc 1) I can’t afford traditional healthcare 2) I’m not into traditional healthcare and 3) I think innovative crowdfunding is the future of finance. But the whole thing about crowdfunding that makes it powerful IMO is the ability to spread the costs out so widely that any one expense is negligible to individuals. I still don’t know enough about CrowdHealth but it sounds like you’re missing an essential part of the innovation opportunity.
