As I’ve said already, I don’t think it’s specific to a restaurant but a supply chain. Even if Taco Bell is one outlet, there are others. And my bet is still on lettuce. BUT why isn’t anyone asking why there is human poop in the soil of farms. This can ONLY come from human feces that’s been festering in soil. Cyclospora outbreaks originate from human fecal contamination of water or the agricultural environment. The parasite matures in the environment and can contaminate fresh produce that’s eaten raw.

I know I beat a dead horse talking raw milk but this is why. We willingly eat absolute shit food from shit places that make you shit your brain and no one bats an eye. But I cannot have raw milk from a trusted source who has a clean environment, tests regularly, etc? Yeah right

When I arrived at the @USDA last week in Washington D.C. and sat down at a table with different ranching families from out West, something stuck with me I still can't stop thinking about. Many of the ranchers, before introducing the type of land grab happening to their ranches, began by telling everyone at the table about the history of their ranch. Many of the ranchers are fourth or fifth generations descended from the pioneers that settled their ranches in the 1880s. One of them was @caseymurph1. Wow. That just blew me away. These men and women are working the land their relatives settled 150-years ago with nothing but a horse and covered wagon. And they are still working that very land today. That's what wars are fought over. Men go to battle for the right to work land freely. Or they go to battle for the right to preserve the land their great-grandfathers claimed centuries ago. No matter how advanced technology gets, you can't print more land. There's only a certain amount. That's why it's valuable. These ranching families I met in DC would rather die than give up their land to foreign corporations or through eminent domain. To be a proud American is to defend your land. Some of these families are out hundreds of thousands of dollars to hire attorneys to help them defend their ranches. They would rather spend their life's savings to keep the dirt their ancestors settled than take a check from a foreign multinational conglomerate. Those are real men. And the women by their sides were just as honorable - brave, courageous, and incredibly sharp. We cannot cede another inch of American farmland to foreign corporations.

Yesterday I met with the legal team from @A1Policy. They are going to assist by finding avenues to save my family ranching operation from hostile encroachment of industrial solar. These are the best of the best legal teams in the country. @A1Policy is committed to defending ranchers and farmers from those hostile to them and their industry, not only in Arizona but across the USA. @_Regenaissance @RealCGriff To be fair, Chicago does have a bunch of beaches. They're little spits of sand that seem pretty big when you're on them, but they're kind of a joke if you've been to a real beach. I'd still drive up to Sheboygan.

@Hybridathlete Someone from my grad school program died this way a few years after we graduated. Everyone but him survived the car crash and everyone but him wore a seatbelt

6 years as a firefighter taught me that if you wear your seatbelt, it is very difficult to die in a car crash, even a relatively high speed one. It also taught me that it is very easy to die if you are not wearing a seatbelt. I can't tell you how many times I was first on scene to a 50+ mph crash, even head on or rollovers, and the cars were smashed to shit, but everyone in the cars was completely fine, not much more than some scratches or bruises. In many cases, all occpants were out of the vehicles and walking around before we even got there. But if anyone wasn't wearing their seatbelt, they were seriously fucked up or dead on arrival.
