It marks O’Dowda’s first trophy with the Hungarian club, whilst it is Robbie Keane’s first time lifting the cup as a manager after guiding Ferencváros to victory in the final. A huge achievement for both men, with Ferencváros now heading into the final day of the league season with everything still to play for. Although the title race is out of their hands, they sit just a point behind Győr and will hope the momentum from tonight’s cup triumph can carry over into the final day.
