@TheLaurenChen @CassandraRules Hard disagree. Stop inviting the entire class. Just do something with your kids’ closest 2-3 friends. I also don’t want to spend $30 for a gift for every kid in the class.

This sounds cool. But wait. 400 diapers will last a family with a newborn approximately five weeks. The program will cost the state approx. $12.4 million this year alone. That money will be funneled through a company called Baby2Baby, which will then provide their branded diapers to 400 participating in hospitals (California has over 500 hospitals in total.) Meaning that instead of lowering taxes and letting families keep their own money to buy essentials like diapers, California takes their money, pumps it through a “nonprofit” that has overhead and whose CEO made $240,000 in 2024, to provide a “free” service available only in certain locations, and that you could have bought yourself for much cheaper.
FactPost@factpostnews

Gov. Gavin Newsom has announced California will be the first state in the nation to provide free diapers to newborns. Families will receive 400 diapers when discharged from the hospital.

@MattWalshBlog One objection is that it makes the state, and the individual acting on behalf of the state, a murderer. But I've got a solution for that. Leave it to the family of the victim. My sister was murdered. I'd be glad to throw the switch, pull the trigger or inject the asshole.

I am challenging any death penalty opponent — there are millions of them, allegedly — to step up to the plate right now and explain why this guy should not be executed. His guilt is established beyond any doubt whatsoever. His crime is utterly savage and heinous. Tell us why he doesn’t deserve to die. Go ahead.

🇺🇸 She used to believe in reparations, that Black people can't be racist, BLM, transgenderism, feminism. All of it. Then she got a transgender roommate, and found out the hard way why they weren't allowed to "discriminate." That word sent her down a rabbit hole. She ended up voting Trump, and married at 23. Woman who was awarded $300,000 after she blamed Carnival Cruise for her blacking out, seen throwing back shots of alcohol on security footage. The woman drank 14 shots but says her getting drunk and falling over is Carnival's fault. She sued the cruise liner, claiming they negligently over-served her during an 8-hour period, and was awarded $300,000. This type of person is literally the worst.

NEW: Woman who downed 14 shots of tequila before falling on a Carnival cruise ship is set to receive $300,000 from Carnival. 45-year-old nurse, Diana Sanders, is getting the large sum of money after she blacked out and fell. The lawsuit claims Sanders suffered "severe injuries, including, but not limited to, a concussion, headaches, a possible traumatic brain injury, back injuries, tailbone injuries, bruising, and other injuries." Sanders blames the bartenders for serving her too much alcohol. You have to be kidding me. Source: Miami Herald

🚨HUGE UPDATE: Turns out that Chris, Paige and Deyanna Ostroushko will ALL be facing federal charges for assaulting me. It was initially reported that only 2 of the 3 would be facing charges, however, Acting AG Todd Blanche, has just announced that ALL THREE were indicted and will be facing charges. Thank you to the DOJ and FBI for doing everything they can to ensure that justice is fully served in this case. I am incredibly grateful to see our justice system at work.

Acting AG Todd Blanche@DAGToddBlanche

Today, Christopher, Deyanna, and Paige Ostrouchko were indicted by a grand jury for allegedly assaulting journalist and Turning Point USA contributor Savannah Hernandez, while she was lawfully reporting on anti-ICE protests outside a federal building in St. Paul. Hernandez was allegedly surrounded, physically assaulted, and shoved to the ground — simply because she was identified by the defendants as a conservative journalist. That is NOT “peaceful protest.” These deplorable actions as charged in the indictment will not be tolerated in America, and this Department of Justice will always punish unhinged acts of political violence.

Any woman with a high school diploma can provide $150,000 of annual value to her household. Tax free. We exchanged that for $100,000 in debt, a feminist studies degree, and a $40,000 salary. Who made that trade?

Middle school in America is roughly 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. If you went to public school, you may remember this as the worst, most awkward time of your school career. I was homeschooled beginning in 6th grade. Thankfully, I missed all of that. As a mom of five homeschooled kids, I’m thankful that all of my children have missed that, too. Homeschooling is a gift to your children.

@bolt24689 @JohnJSSoriano Exactly. That's the problem. For virtually all of English history, we've had common law marriage (which also aligns with the Bible), but at some point in the last 50 years a bunch of stupid legislators who thought they knew better dumped it, and now people are asking for it back.

NEW: Mother who lost her son and husband in the Titan submarine disaster, says their remains were returned as "slush" in tiny shoeboxes. Christine Dawood told the Guardian that there was a large pile of mixed slush that they couldn't separate. She said it took nine months for her to receive her husband's & son's remains. "We didn’t get the bodies for nine months. Well, when I say bodies, I mean the slush that was left. They came in two small boxes, like shoeboxes," she told the Guardian. The "slush" was what was able to be recovered from the sea floor through DNA testing. "They have a big pile they can’t separate, all mixed DNA, and they asked if I wanted some of that, too. But I said no, just what you know is Suleman and Shahzada."

Seen a lot of conversation about how predatory the American medical system is. So I will weigh in. I ended up going to the ER about 2 weeks ago for crippling pain. Turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was there for MAYBE 4 hours. My bill? $13,500 dollars. Because I'm uninsured (by choice, that shit is a SCAM), the hospital dropped my bill down to $8,100 and some change as an "uninsured" discount. For starters, $13,500 for a 4 hour hospital visit is insane as it is. But the fact the hospital can wipe $5,000 off the bill "just because" should show you how utterly fucked this system is. And to be clear - $8,000 is still an absolutely insane sum of money when all these people did was scan my stomach and give me some pain killers. On my itemized bill, my CT scan was 7k. The iodine they used was $900. Just being in the ER room alone was $2,500. We phoned the hospital to haggle. They dropped the price by $20. Normal people can't survive this shit. I do okay and $8,000 is still an INSANE chunk of money out of my savings. Anyone who argues this isn't a disgusting, predatory system is crazy. And it is even crazier that Americans accept this. And for those of you who argue this is the free market, I need you to be quiet. There can never be a true free market here when government and insurance have their creepy little fingers in this pie. People shouldn't go bankrupt trying to pay medical bills. This has to change.

Man who went viral for remaining in his seat as he ate food during the WH Correspondents' Dinner shooting says he didn't want his new tux on the dirty Hilton floor. He also said he is from New York, so he hears sirens and activity all the time. "I’m a New Yorker. We live with sirens and activity happening all the time," Michael Glantz, an agent at Creative Artists Agency, said. "I wasn’t scared. There are hundreds of Secret Service agents hurtling themselves over tables and chairs, and I wanted to watch." "First of all, I have a bad back. I couldn’t get on the floor, and if I did get on the floor, they’d have to bring in people to get me off the floor. And No. 2, I’m a hygiene freak. There was no freaking way I was getting in my new tux on the dirty Hilton floor. It was not happening."
