After a real "brush with death" a few weeks ago, I am now back, very grateful to The Lord to be alive, more aware that tomorrow is not promised, and that God has prolonged my days for reason. Thank you to family, friends, and co-workers for seeing me through this...and of course the surgeon and all healthcare workers 🙏🙏
If anyone has tried to reach me via phone without success, that is because the "first responders" who rescued me decided to pay themselves with my phones, other items, and even my eye glasses 😊 Anyway, nothing is more valuable than life. So we move.

Dear colleagues in the media, we can hang in there no more. We already have the story. Any further coverage would worsen things. These are the dark days of journalism. The state is number one enemy of journalism. Unfortunately we are on our own.

The benefit of being born with people who are cleverer and more serious than you is that they do the work and you can share in the glory just on account of bloodline. Some fellows in the family are working on our ancestry going back centuries. So far on the paternal male lineage alone, I am Wod (son of) Martin Obbo. Grandfather is Tomasi Onyango. Great Grandfather Okilangoĺe aka Orando. Great Great Grandfather Okanya. Great Great Great Grandfather Otaso. Great Great Great Great Grandfather Pasule. And they are still going…wouldn’t be surprised if they roll in 500 years. I take a bow 🙇🏾♀️🙇🏾♀️🙇🏾♀️

Subjecting our kids to these two grueling PLE days where they have to prove what they’ve learnt for seven years is the most inhumane act that we must all condemn. Let’s never celebrate UNEB exams. They’re cruel.

Rwanda is going to be among the first World Class Countries sooner than any other African countries…. And 1st World I mean like Dubai, UAE… not the likes of USA blur blur…
