The inner city is super dangerous like any major city in the world but all the surrounding suburbs and business areas like Sandton and Rosebank are booming. Neumann is right on Flow. In 10 years it will be “obvious” that the thing to have done today was form aligned private societies which build huge, gated, luxurious, city-like infrastructure projects (including acquiring undeveloped & low density land) — but how many will do it?
