Not wanting to be complicit in genocide, is not called virtue signaling.

@TheOmniLiberal Meh the inclusion of people who cant discern the question is what makes blue the right choice. But if we grouped each of those people with a guardian who can I dont think blue buttoners would be moved to red cuz its about the fake virtue signal and not actually saving them.

It is actually disturbing how dumb the average person is Red gives you a 100% chance of living, you literally get nothing beneficial out of choosing blue

Thanks for the explanations and for sharing your reasonings guys. I prefer not to look at it as left vs right but as a bare bone thought experiment. My immediate first thought was "I'd push blue". But then I thought about it. Can I trust other people? By the way the world is looking, the answer is categorically no. In this world, it's basically impossible for so many to push blue. It's not gonna happen. Too much data shows this. Even those who say they would push blue, a big chunk of them would end up pushing red anyways. So red is the right choice. If I push blue and I die, who is gonna take care of my family? At least by pushing red I ensure I can take care of my family. Helping strangers is a wonderful thing. Failing to help your children and family is worse than not helping strangers. I would then hope everyone comes to the same conclusion (including everyone in my family and friends) and we all end up pushing red. For the inevitable blues, sorry bro. Happy to have my mind changed if you disagree and you are good at explaining your position. For those who are gonna use the shaming tactics, push blue and gtfo! But I know you are gonna push red anyways, aren't you?
Metatron@pureMetatron

What't up with this red vs blue button thing? Can you explain it to me? My next post will be my personal choice, after you guys explain it.

@jayn2222 We have the least people in poverty of any generation ever. People had kids while their cities were being bombed and had to ration food. It's not affordability that's stopped people having kids.

@thirdmetax The correct response is...both things played a factor. Floyd wasn't a time bomb set to explode and die that day. But the things that happened after exacerbated things and led to that kind of ending. A lot of things could have went differently with a few things changed.

Need some advice! Anyone that manages Payrolls My daughter has had P60 issued. It says she’s earned £118 000 from other employment this year She has not . Is HMRC giving this info to her employer? (I’m thinking possible NI number fraud) Or is the employer committing fraud?

This is going to keep on happening until companies and governments recognise that there are too many systems connected to the internet that shouldn't be and don't need to be. And that they need to get confidential and highly confidential data out of The Cloud and back into more localised storage. It wouldn't stop hacking completely but it would make the consequences less serious.

A few years ago, I recorded an interview with an American guy who has 16 children with his wife. They're not rich. He is the sole income earner and they homeschooled all their kids. They eschewed luxuries that many people wouldn't even consider luxuries anymore. I often think back to that conversation when people talk about being unable to afford children and how 'the economy' is the main reason birth rates have collapsed. It's more a matter of lifestyle expectations, priorities, and unwillingness to sacrifice, rather than pure economics. That's the reality. And I get it, so it's not a condemnation.

I posted in the comments it was an AI video. The context was added at the bottom. I specifically said “Iran Just” in the post. I never claimed it to be true it was what they posted. This is why I stopped posted the news from the war entirely. I never said he was there. A 90 day ban a day before I get paid is strange, it would have been my largest check. That’s 90 days and I give my all to this app I always have. It’s not even my video it’s a reference post video, 90 days. Not even YouTube does that with their first warning absolutely crazy when I have overhead and responsibilities but put all my faith into X from the comments majority of the people agree this is wild.

No one serious is claiming that North Sea oil and gas is state-owned. That's a strawman. The actual argument is about what extracting it does for Britain - and the answer is straightforward. North Sea oil gets sold on the global market, yes. Around 80% of it bypasses our refineries entirely, partly because those refineries were built to process Libyan crude, not the light sweet crude the North Sea produces. Fine. But when oil companies extract that oil and turn a profit, the Exchequer taxes that profit. That tax revenue is real money that can subsidise bills during supply disruptions. That's our stake - and it's a legitimate one. Gas is even more direct. North Sea gas feeds straight into the UK pipeline network. Britain consumes between 65% and 85% of the gas it extracts domestically. It stabilises supply. It generates taxable profit. There is no coherent argument for leaving it in the ground. Now, climate. Britain produces less than 2% of global greenhouse emissions. Not a single major polluter on earth is adjusting their behaviour based on UK climate commitments. What actually happens when we strangle our own energy sector in pursuit of rapid decarbonisation is simple - we de-industrialise, we export jobs to China, and China builds EVs powered by coal. We get poorer. The climate is unaffected. Leaving recoverable North Sea reserves untouched doesn't save the planet. It just makes Britain weaker.
Zoe Gardner@ZoeJardiniere

It is blowing my mind how many people don’t seem able to grasp that oil & gas in the North Sea is not “ours” but was sold off to private companies who will trade it on the international market like any other fuel. We don’t get any kind of privileged access to this fuel.
