@5GuysInCanada I haven't touched it since they added the cat. I refuse.

@OWAnonymous_ - Faster reload (like in the community mode)
- Manually control Petal (again community mode just with better less buggy implementation)
- Charge Blossom equal to damage dealt while keeping passive charge to encourage dealing dmg between blossoms
- Superbloom basekit

@TBYSTweet I was one of his first viewers (like among the first 50 people) back when he uploaded his first Vlog during the JET program. I told him years later when he did a survey that his content would turn into soulless slop if he continue down the path he was going and here we are.

This had to happen NOW? Now that the entire lore got fucked over by the TV show.

@MaroonKennedy Example of a two digit IQ right here. Fucking Christian Nationalist clown.
English

The physical media debate is a literal two digit IQ topic. Physical meadia in gaming has been dead for over a decade. The moment I NEED a 40GB patch on launch day to even fucking play my broken ass game, my physical disc is worthless.
Sammy@TigheSammy
The layoffs are objectively worse than Sony killing physical media but the fact that they’re being so transparent about it has made them look SOOO much better than Sony who had to lie to justify a decision no one wants

@PurpleColonelSP @OogakiChud I'm celebrating the collapse of this shitty industry. It has to crash. It needs a reset.
English

@OogakiChud 1) you shouldn't react with glee when random employees lose their jobs, that's just fucked.
2) the people getting fired aren't choosing the projects that fail, trend-chasing executives are.
3) I'm not at all defending Microsoft or any of their subsidiaries as corporate entities

> Get hired by a game studio. Dream job. Tens of thousands of hours to get here.
> The studio's parent company puts you to work on "Shitty Fortnite."
> Work 80 hour weeks for a year.
> Shitty Fortnite is shitty.
> Massive losses.
> Get laid off.

I hate that game developers these days all think they're untouchable geniuses and that it's a human rights violation to be fired for making dogshit games nobody buys.

@CollinsZagaa @soloteque @MarioNawfal Upper Silesia was German for hundreds of years. It was a border change after WW2. It wasn't ethnically Polish, it only became so after Germans got ethnically replaced and forcefully pushed out. No one in German would consider her or her father Polish. History matters.
English

@soloteque @MarioNawfal The article said the father is from Poland.

@Vixxxine @Waitrosian @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon You're a premium user and your posts are way longer than 280 characters. The dude used hyperbole and you engaged him with a fallacy, I even gave you the name of it. You are uninvolved and are clearly morally biased to the opposite position since you are some flavour of LGBT.
English

Honestly you people need to stop throwing around the word fallacy as if it's a checkmate move in discussion. No, I didn't use a fallacy, I made a comparison to better illustrate the nonsense in calling someone "subhuman" over something that is out of their control. This is Twitter, we're limited to a certain number of characters, I try to stay within the 280 character limit on my first comments. I cannot precisely explain the nuance in what I'm saying. Point is this is not a situation that demands moral judgment from parties that are uninvolved. Yeah it fucking sucks, It's a difficult situation. I feel sorry for everyone involved and I hope they can find a way to resolve it meaningfully. However to think that we reserve the right to call someone "subhuman" over something like this is ludicrous and shows a fundamental lack of empathy.
English

@Vixxxine @Waitrosian @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon This person has a choice on how to act (how to respond to dysphoria) and even if he did not you're still using a fallacy to validate the behaviour. Your point is that this person has a right to put himself first. I disagree. He made choices, morally there are consequences.
English

The difference is that a person doesn't choose to be trans and although it's an unpleasant and difficult situation to just summarize this as "subhuman" is incredibly petty. The comparison is just to further contextualize the vanity of honing in on such a personal problem, when people who do have a choice comit far worse and more outrageous acts against their children (and this is not uncommon). Maybe if they'd have something worthwhile to say about the particularities if this case I'd be inclined to agree, but we're just taking the headline and generalizing it as subhuman. That is petty
English

@Vixxxine @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon The best solution in this situation would be seeking alternative treatment for their dysphoria, transitioning is supposedly "the best" treatment not the only one. This much he owes to his wife and child.
English

It's not a self interested take, it's better for everyone involved; you're expecting grand sacrifices from someone in a difficult position, but we're all human, we aren't capable of carrying that kind of cross on our backs. Is it really worth risking that the child has to grow up with a severely depressed parent? Or worse yet, one that decides to take their own life? These things aren't a joke, and "taking responsibility" is not always a feat one can bear.
English

@Vixxxine @Waitrosian @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon What you are doing is called a fallacy of relative privation. A thing being worse than another thing does not relegate being upset about the first thing to the status of "petty". People just generally dislike deadbeat parents. Nothing petty about that.
English

By saying it was "a petty thing to be upset about in the grand scheme of things" I was referring to the commentor and not the situation. Why is this situation so particularly egregious to them? It's a difficult situation that needs to be handled between the adults handling it such that no one is forced into a corner and the child is taken care of in the best way possible that the situation allows for. They decided however that it's "subhuman" for them to do this. Really? Subhuman? Compare that to parents who treat their children to mental and/or physical abuse as a form of discipline. It's unfortunately super common and is way worse for the child than their parent coming out as trans. In this context, yes, it is petty for a completely unrelated person to be upset about this.
English

@Vixxxine @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon Sure, that is the self interested take. Another read is that at the point where you agree to a marriage and have a child with someone your selfish desires should take a step back. He married willingly, he had a child willingly. Take responsibility.
English

@bosberus @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon I don't disagree, but the solution is not to torment oneself and stay in the marriage if it's causing you mental anguish. It's tragic, all divorce is, but forcing people to stay together, or better yet, repressing their own mental anguish, is not the way to go about it.
English

@Vixxxine @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon You said you want nuance and then talk in very broad generalizations. Some people divorcing over seemingly minor issues does not make any failed marriage, especially one involving a child and a one sided betrayal of the terms of the marriage any less tragic.
English

@bosberus @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon It is a big deal, but in what world is shunning the trans woman a better solution than ending the marriage on good terms? People divorce over less, clearly this is just outrage aimed at trans people because they aren't taken seriously. As if it's something you can just wish away
English

@Vixxxine @softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon You can't tell me this isn't a bad faith take. If one half of a marriage changing their gender identity isn't a big thing then not doing so shouldn't be in equal measure. By that logic the husband should not change identity to preserve his marriage and home life.
English

@softcutebunny @MicroDoseHon She's obviously in an unfortunate position too? I never dismissed her misfortune. I promise you however, most married couples will go through things way worse than this. As adults it's their job to navigate the situation in a graceful manner, but repressing is not a solution
