just pushed the largest demo24.xyz update yet. this was almost a complete rewrite, lots of things got fixed and added. Some notable changes: - reworked camera movement - reworked inventory system - reworked HUD - sound no longer gives you a headache - begun process of porting in-game animations - improved visual fidelity - reduced memory usage - improved CPU usage glhf

The latest version of de_inferno is now live on DEMO24. This was also an opportunity to increase the beta map's level of detail. After demo24.xyz exits beta, users will be able to select different game and graphics settings to suit their needs!

DEMO24 has been updated with the latest version of de_anubis. While demo24.xyz is in beta, replays will automatically use the latest available version of the map. GLHF

As someone who gets their bread and butter out of the demo system im glad to see improvements finally come down the pipe. Better matching demo footage to whats seen in pro tournaments or stream POVs is a huge step forward. Demos still need a TON of QoL changes and I hope Valve stays proactive in making demo viewing easier and more accessible!

Not what I want to see. Seems Mexico is getting a required biometric ID card. It's a slippery slope, today you cannot go to the hospital because you don't have it and tomorrow because you didn't pay your parking ticket. I moved here to avoid these kinds of things (I thought). Not sure how I want to feel about this
