This is Sarah, Patrick’s wife: Patrick died last night at Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth. He declined rapidly this week and died peacefully with his family at his side. Thank you for the support you have shown Patrick and our family @sarah_wymer

@bowelcancerman Hope you are comfortable - does it come with a control as moving the bed up and down and getting just the right angle for your pillows is one of life’s small pleasures x

Truly staggered at the reaction to my tweet and blog an Thursday about my #bowelcancer treatment ending. I think I’ve read all of the 1,200+ replies now and wish I could respond to them all! Please accept this as my sincere thanks for all the kindness and support you’ve shown me
